As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of experience under my belt, I must say that I am both thrilled and slightly confused by the latest development in the world of Persona. The announcement of Joker from Persona 5 gracing the halls of Persona 3 Reload as a challenge boss is an exciting prospect, to say the least. However, I can’t help but feel a twinge of disappointment that my beloved female protagonist from Persona 3 Portable won’t be making an appearance in any capacity.
In the game Persona 3 Reload, the character Joker, known from Persona 5, is going to appear as a tough opponent in an upcoming downloadable content (DLC) on September 10th. Since Persona 3 Reload has already been available for some time, it’s likely that most players have completed the main story. This new addition offers an incentive for those who are craving more story elements to return to the game and sharpen their combat skills as the challenge level increases.
As a devoted fan, I’m thrilled to share that the expansion pass for Persona 3 Reload is brimming with fresh content. With Wave 1 and 2, we got an abundance of tunes to enrich our gaming experience, plus a snazzy team costume set. The upcoming Wave 3, however, takes the cake – it’s none other than Episode Aigis – The Answer, which serves as the main story’s conclusion. A novel feature will be introduced in this expansion, offering challenges that were previously unattainable in earlier versions of Persona 3.

He doesn’t utter many words, but we hear him say “ravage them,” a line that echoes through the Persona 5 games when Joker lands a critical hit or a fatal blow using his persona.

In the trailer, Joker is teased with Arsene and Satanel, two demons that are strongly linked to his character and story beats. Enthusiasts, albeit somewhat disheartened, are thrilled about the inclusion of Joker in the game, although they’re slightly dismayed that the female protagonist from Persona 3 Portable won’t appear.
