How to Get the Best Players (Heroes) in Inazuma Eleven Victory Road

In Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road, you’ll unlock players for your team as you progress through Chronicle and Competition Modes. These players come in different rarities, ranging from Common to Legendary. While you’ll eventually want a team of Legendary players, you can also use up to two Hero-level players at a time – they’re very powerful! This guide will show you how to get these Hero characters and why you should add them to your team when you do.

So, in Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road, you can really boost your players – I’ve taken guys from Common all the way up to Legendary! But just so you know, even with all that upgrading, you can’t unlock a Hero player that way. You’ll have to find them some other way.

How to Get Heroes in Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road

Player Universe

In Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road, the Player Universe is a feature within Chronicle Mode that lets you trade five Bond Stars for 12 character spirits over and over. These spirits are organized into constellations, which you can view when you visit the Player Universe. Selecting a constellation and choosing the ‘Available Characters’ option (located in the bottom-right corner of the screen) shows you all the spirits you can earn from it. Keep in mind that each constellation has a low (0.5%) chance of awarding Hero character spirits.

If you’re new to the game, you can turn spirits into playable characters using the ‘Spirits’ section in the Team Bank menu. Once converted, the new player will appear in your Player Bank (also in the Team Bank menu), where you can then add them to your team.

One way to get new Heroes in the game is by spending Bond Stars on constellations. You can use the constellation search to find ones that might reward the Heroes you want. However, getting a Hero this way is rare, so you’ll probably need to spend a lot of Bond Stars. This guide explains how to earn Bond Stars in Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road, and here’s a quick overview of how to do it.

  • Go to Competition Mode and compete in ranked and lobby matches online. Those matches award five Bond Stars upon completion, regardless of if you win or lose.
  • Win Rare Drop and Hero Battles in Chronicle Mode. These battles are unlocked by winning a node’s preceding battles, and they have a chance to award one or two Bond Stars at the end.

Hero Battles

You earn Hero spirits by winning Hero Battles in Chronicle Mode. To access these battles, you first need to complete the regular battles within a Chronicle route – including unlocking the route and defeating the Rare Drop battles. You’ll also need a strong team, capable of beating opponents at level 51 or higher, to win the Hero Battles.

As a player, if you want to see which Heroes you can get from Hero Battles, just hover over a Battle you’ve unlocked. A “Check Drop Rates” button will pop up at the bottom of the screen – click that, and it’ll show you exactly what your chances are of getting a Hero spirit. Be warned though, those chances can be pretty low, so you’ll probably need to play a lot of Hero Battles!

Spirit Market

Players can now buy Hero spirits from the Spirit Market, found within the Marketplace on the main menu. Here’s how to find the available Heroes for purchase:

  1. Select Marketplace from the main menu.
  2. Click on Spirit Market.
  3. Navigate to the Spirits tab.

Okay, so if you’re planning on buying Heroes from the Spirit Market, you’re gonna need a lot of Legendary spirits. I’ve learned it’s really smart to check out what’s available in the shop before you convert any of your spirits into characters. You might want to hold onto some just in case a Hero you really want shows up later!
