In just under a day since its debut, players of the newly released game “Starfield” are already customizing the game’s innovative REV-8 space rover via modding. After a long period of anticipation, Bethesda unveiled during Gamescom Opening Night Live the much-awaited new land vehicle from Starfield, the REV-8, which can be found in-game as of now.

Back in 2023, when Bethesda’s latest RPG was first released, Todd Howard shared his reasons for not including land vehicles in Starfield, mainly due to pacing concerns. However, fan requests have been addressed recently as a new vehicle, REV-8, was incorporated into Starfield on August 20 as part of an unexpected update. Moreover, during the Gamescom Opening Night Live event, it was confirmed that the eagerly awaited Shattered Space DLC will be available for Xbox Series X/S and PC on September 30.

Despite many players yet to explore the latest update of Starfield, modders are already transforming the REV-8 vehicle into an entirely new model. At present, only a few modifications for the REV-8 have been developed, but one of the most sought-after is the NASA Lunar Rover mod, which can be downloaded on NexusMods for the PC version of Starfield. The mod’s description indicates that it replaces the REV-8 with the legendary NASA Lunar Rover, although it lacks a dedicated rear mount for Vasco. However, he can still access the vehicle.

New Starfield Mods for REV-8 Are Already Available
