Forza Horizon 5 Trailer Reveals Hide & Seek Mode Coming September 2024

As a seasoned Forza Horizon enthusiast with years of high-octane racing under my belt, the latest announcement for Hide & Seek mode in Forza Horizon 5 has sent a thrill down my spine! The strategic gameplay and the twist on traditional multiplayer races are just what I’ve been craving.

Today, a fresh trailer showcased the gameplay for the forthcoming Hide & Seek mode in Forza Horizon 5, set to debut on September 10, 2024.

The announcement kicked off Xbox’s new Gamescom 2024 livestream. Today’s trailer confirms Hide & Seek is a 5v1 game mode where one “Hider” must race to the finish line while five “Seekers” pursue them.

As a gaming enthusiast, I’m excited to announce that we’re adding a thrilling new mode called Hide & Seek to our multiplayer experience, coming soon as a free update! In this heart-pounding game, you’ll find yourself either hiding or seeking, with a ticking clock adding an extra layer of tension for the hiders trying to reach the finish line before they’re found. To make things even more intriguing, there are detection and progress gauges that will keep both parties on their toes! Can’t wait to play it myself and see how far I can hide or how quickly I can seek!

The strategic options provided by the gauge let the Hider blend inconspicuously among others instead of just focusing on outpacing competitors.

The latest trailer additionally displays high-definition 4K gameplay of all the novel game mechanisms. It unveils that the End Zone requires some time before it becomes operational, and that there are indicators for Hiders, allowing Seekers to strategize and synchronize their actions accordingly.

Playground Games, the developer behind Forza Horizon 4, has announced that the game will be removed from digital stores due to licensing problems. The removal is scheduled for December 2024, and interestingly enough, this announcement led to a surge in players as the game reached an all-time peak player record the very next day.

In the year 2021, Forza Horizon 5 made its debut, and it’s been announced that Hide & Seek will be playable across platforms like Steam for PC, Xbox Series X|S, and Game Pass.
