Black Myth: Wukong - How To Change Relic Upgrades

As a seasoned gamer with countless hours logged in various RPGs and action-adventure games under my belt, I must say that Black Myth: Wukong has truly caught my attention with its innovative approach to character building. The ability to change relic buffs on the fly is a game changer, allowing me to experiment with different playstyles without breaking the bank or being locked into a specific build.

Once you finish a chapter in the game Black Myth: Wukong, players receive one of six Wukong’s relics and some of his mighty power. Upon acquiring the relic, you must decide which bonus from the relic to activate, granting a permanent enhancement.

Initially, it might not appear so, but these enhancements for the relic are interchangeable among the different options. This flexibility allows gamers to experiment with diverse character builds effortlessly and economically, as there’s no charge for respeccing within the game.

How To Change A Relic Buff In Black Myth: Wukong

After equipping a relic and activating its buff, you can find it in your main menu, specifically in the Relics section. To switch which buff is currently active, locate a Shrine nearby and follow these steps: Self-Advance, then Reignite The Spark to access the respec menu. Now that you have a relic, you will notice a new option titled “Relics” appearing at the top of your screen.

At this location, press the reset button to clear all active bonuses on your relic and choose a fresh option. This action won’t cost you anything, and you can perform it at any shrine, allowing players the flexibility to test each bonus and discover their preferred choices.

What Can Be Respeced In Black Myth: Wukong

In the game Black Myth: Wukong, players have the flexibility to reassign their character’s attributes, or respec, and experiment with various builds. Although resources used in crafting are non-refundable, you can still revert Staff upgrades to explore alternative paths if desired. All aspects of your character that can be adjusted or respeced are listed, except for armor, which can be equipped and unequipped at any time after being crafted.

Staff Upgrades Staff upgrades aren’t permanent, though they will require you to craft the base version of the staff again before purchasing the upgrades of whatever other path you wish to follow. This process is expensive but lets players try out every staff should they want.
Skills In Skill Trees In the Reignite menu, players can get all the spent sparks back to invest them in whatever skills their current level allows.
Relics It may be a slow process to get new relics, but you can use that time to try out each buff available to find the best one.
Spirit Core Upgrades Spirit Cores are rare items that can be spent at the medicine merchant to grant permanent upgrades to various stats and can be undone at the same merchant to refund all your Spirit Cores to spend them in a different way.
