Shortly after starting Where Winds Meet, you can discover a hidden area with extra treasure. Besides coins and crafting materials, you’ll also encounter enemies that are easy to defeat, helping you gain experience quickly. Completing this area involves finding a stone tablet that instructs you to bow. However, depending on your game settings, the game might not tell you where or how to perform the bow.

Okay, so in Where Winds Meet, you can actually bow on the mat right in front of the stairs. It’s super simple and totally safe, but if you’ve got your prompts turned off in the game, you might miss how to do it. I’m going to walk you through the steps so you can do it easily!

Where and How to Bow in Where Winds Meet

Okay, so I figured out how to bow in Where Winds Meet! It’s actually pretty simple, but you have to be at the very end of the Volume II – Echoes of the Shrine quest. After you’ve beaten all the enemies and Zhang Lang, just go to the front of the room and read that tablet. If you have your prompts turned on, you’ll see a little highlight showing you exactly which praying mat to interact with. Just walk up and interact with it to bow!

If you haven’t already, find the prayer mat right in front of the stairs. When you get close, a message saying “Bow” will appear. Press the corresponding button to bow in Where Winds Meet. To get the special reward, you’ll need to bow on this same mat three times.

After you get the special reward, you’ll need to climb back out of the underground area. Don’t worry, there are no enemies down there, but you might find a few extra chests with goodies. Once you’re back at the top, bow before the statue in Where Winds Meet to finish Volume II – Echoes of the Shrine.
