Similar to other DDV characters, Tiana is no exception when it comes to providing players with a plethora of enjoyable tasks. What’s more, she plans to establish a new eatery in the valley, giving villagers an additional dining choice alongside Chez Remy. How to Start A Taste For Literature in Dreamlight Valley
To acquire Tiana, complete the story mission titled “A Taste For Literature”. This adventure begins when you discover Remy’s Enigmatic Cookbook. After updating your game, check your inbox for a letter from Remy, where he hints at finding the mysterious cookbook in the Glade of Trust. Visit the Glade of Trust and search around the small pond to locate the cookbook and start the quest. Moreover, to obtain Moana, finish the “How Far You’ll Go” quest.
How to Complete A Taste For Literature in DDV
Talk to Villagers from the Memory
1. Grabbing the cookbook initiates the “A Taste For Literature” quest. Make your way to Chez Remy and converse with him regarding the cookbook. While chatting, a snapshot from the book will appear showcasing Merlin, Moana, and Mickey enjoying an unusual Cajun dish. Now, locate these three characters and discuss this peculiar meal with them.
Collect the Ingredients For Mysterious Cajun Recipe
To proceed, gather the components essential for the enigmatic Cajun dish, as Mickey, Merlin, and Moana have pooled them together: so, it’s time for you to collect these ingredients.
- Shrimp.
- Milk.
- Rice.
- Onion.
- Dreamlight Pepper.
As a gamer, I catch shrimp by fishing in the azure bubble-filled waters of Dazzle Beach. I can snag some milk from Remy’s Pantry using 230 Star Coins. For rice, I pick up rice seeds from Goofy’s stall in the Glade of Trust for 35 Star Coins. After that, I plant these seeds and wait around 50 minutes to reap my harvest.
1) At Goofy’s stall in the Forest of Valor, you can purchase onion seed packets for 50 Star Coins. Once planted, wait an hour and a quarter, then come back to harvest them. After speaking with Merlin, he will reward you with Dreamlight Pepper.
Cook the Mysterious Cajun Recipe and Share It With Villagers
Gather all your ingredients, then head over to Chez Remy to prepare the Enchanted Shrimp Etouffee. Once cooked, invite Merlin, Moana, Mickey Mouse, and Remy to share this dish. Doing so will release Tiana, the enchanted frog princess, who has been mysteriously trapped within the cookbook. While it may seem peculiar, this is how the magical Dreamlight Valley functions.
Place Tiana’s House in the Valley
Once you’ve freed Tiana, feel free to give her a warm welcome in the valley and snap some enjoyable selfies together. Following this, you’ll need to chat with her. She will express her excitement about joining the valley and ask you to build her house here. To do so, navigate to the requests section within Furniture mode, select Remy’s request, and then place her house wherever you prefer in the valley. However, there’s more! You will also need to pay Scrooge McDuck 5,000 Star Coins by interacting with his board.
Once you’ve constructed Tiana’s home, present her with the enigmatic Cajon cookbook to finish the “A Taste For Literature” mission and make Tiana available as a new DDV (Dynamically Defined Villager) in your game.
