As a seasoned gamer with years of battlefield experience under my belt, I can confidently say that this game strategy is as solid as the shield of a medieval knight. The key here is adaptability and resourcefulness, much like in real life.
Concord offers players a diverse array of characters, each requiring unique strategies for play. Some characters are sluggish yet powerful, while others are agile and rely on evasion tactics to avoid confrontations with enemies. Nevertheless, selecting Lennox prepares players for any challenge. Lennox is equally proficient in long-range combat as he is in close quarters, able to handle enemies from a distance or engage them directly.
During matches, Lennox has the ability to alternate between two distinct pistols: first, his HL-4 “Bell Ringer” Heavy Handgun, and second, a Chesterly Model 3 Revolver. By mastering the timing, he can significantly boost the amount of damage inflicted over time as he avoids the need for frequent reloading.
How To Play As Lennox In Concord
Lennox is an alien gunslinger with a knack for handling single-action pistols, sporting green skin. He’s equipped with a toolset that gives him gameplay similarities to Cassidy from Overwatch 2, including reloading on the move and launching explosive ammunition. However, Lennox possesses an extra skill – he can regenerate his health using one of his special abilities. Additionally, when teamed up with others, Lennox functions as a Warden in a crew, extending the reach of their weapons for those who choose to switch characters.
Moving As Lennox
- Access to double
- Access to single dodge (reloads weapon)
Lennox boasts a regular roll move and the capability to execute a double jump. This unique feature enables him to reach higher surfaces and ledges that other single-jump characters cannot manage. Players controlling Lennox should opt for broader paths to steer clear of tight passages where an adversary might swiftly defeat him before he has a chance to recover.
Engaging Enemies With Lennox
- Single target damage
- Timed instant reloading
Lennox excels at delivering consistent harm because of his toolkit. Users of Lennox don’t have to worry too much about reloading when not engaged in battle, as they can switch to a weapon that’s already fully loaded if they time it correctly, even with just two bullets remaining. It’s advisable for players to focus on dishing out most of their damage using the heavy handgun, given its higher damage output per shot.
What Are Lennox’s Abilities In Concord?
Lennox possesses four distinct skills: one passive, two active, and one Combat Trait. His gameplay strategy primarily involves relentless offense and gaining an advantage during his opponent’s reloading periods. Unlike most players who can manually reload using a separate button when their weapon isn’t fully loaded, Lennox can also trigger a reload by firing when the ammo is depleted. In addition to this, Lennox swiftly switches weapons to instantly reload a pistol, and his default version can even reload while dodging.
Gunslinger
- Passive Ability
In a heated confrontation with an adversary, running out of ammunition and needing to reload could be a matter of survival. Interestingly, when Lennox’s active gun becomes empty, pressing the weapon switch button swiftly brings out his secondary pistol, fully loaded – even if it was almost/nearly depleted.
Dodge Reload
- Combat Trait
As a gamer, when I mess up my weapon swap timing, I can quickly reload the equipped weapon by dodging. This tactic gives Lennox a significant edge in a 1v1 encounter if his opponent is busy reloading. The original Lennox character comes with this Combat Trait, while his Variant II boasts a larger ammo clip. It’s hard to predict how many other versions of him will be introduced throughout the game.
Claxton Healing
- Active Ability
- Recharge on elimination
1. The players can activate this skill to gradually restore their health over a period of time instead of receiving an immediate boost. They acquire more chances to use this skill by defeating adversaries, so once it’s used up, there’s no waiting for it to recharge.
Exploding Knife
- Active Ability
- Recharge on pick-up
Lennox has an exceptional move called Exploding Knife, which inflicts a massive one-time damage that can potentially defeat an enemy when they’re on the verge of defeat. It’s advisable to employ this skill only when you’re sure you can hit your target, even if it doesn’t guarantee a knockout. Unlike other abilities, Exploding Knife doesn’t go on cooldown or recharge by defeating opponents. Instead, more of these knives will drop from fallen enemies, which Lennox can collect to use again. This is another comparison drawn between the character and Overwatch’s roster.
Strategies For Lennox In Concord
1. In various game settings, a well-thought-out strategy can significantly boost your team’s chances of emerging victorious in the contest. You might encounter multiple scenarios during play, and being familiar with how to respond effectively will help you excel. If players find the game challenging, developers have incorporated plenty of customization options to accommodate individual preferences.
When To Use Claxton Healing
Following the activation of their Claxton Healing skill, players will gradually regain their depleted life force over a short period. This skill is essential in two situations: during an intense battle and immediately post-combat. Players should strategically position themselves near cover for protection. When their health drops significantly, they can retreat to safety and employ this ability to boost their chances of survival in the ensuing confrontation.
As a seasoned gamer with years of battle royale experience under my belt, I’ve learned that managing your resources wisely can mean the difference between victory and defeat. In this context, it’s essential to understand how to utilize your character’s ability effectively. Players will receive a charge from eliminations, but if there’s a healing spot nearby, it’s better to try to grab a pick-me-up first before engaging an opponent. However, should you find yourself facing off against an adversary, don’t hesitate to use your ability defensively to avoid giving the enemy team an easy point. It’s crucial to maintain at least one charge during combat instead of using it to top up health when you’re safe. This strategy has served me well in countless matches and can help any player improve their gameplay significantly.
In Concord, the economy heals exceptionally well, causing attackers to overlap into the role of supporters. Even the supporting characters perform as effectively as attackers. Yet, certain players believe that one type of supportive character is yet to be included in the system.
Enemy Encounter
Lennox excels in both long-range and close combat situations, offering players opportunities for strategic advantages. During one-on-one encounters, players may find themselves in positions where they can take down an opponent or defend against Emari. To maximize Lennox’s potential, players might opt to leverage the Gunslinger passive ability to keep firing bullets at opponents from a distance, or when surprising them around a corner. In tight spots, it would be wise for players to move themselves so they can hide behind cover and utilize their Claxton Healing if they sense they might lose the skirmish.
As soon as they find an opportunity for attack, they should employ their explosive knife to inflict maximum harm. Once their target collapses, they will receive a recharge of Claxton Healing and can take the fallen target’s explosive knife. If there’s another adversary around, using Claxton Healing can help survive longer, and they’ll acquire two explosive knives once that enemy also falls as well.
Enemies On The Zone
It’s risky to charge into an area packed with foes alone; it’s safer to have backup. Look for a teammate who has the role of an ‘Anchor’ – these characters are the toughest in the game. While they draw enemy fire, sneak up on the zone from another direction. Lennox is excellent at dealing long-range damage that combines with the damage the Anchor inflicts on enemies. The quicker an adversary is defeated, the less overall harm your team will sustain. A strategy like ‘divide and conquer’ can help you take control of a zone more easily.
Teammates On The Zone
Take up a strategic spot, sandwiched between the battlefield zone and a potential entry point. Attack any opponents who come into view, aiming to inflict harm. Your goal is to provoke them into focusing solely on engaging with you, thus overlooking their own loss in the game.
As a gamer, I always aim to take down my foes from afar, dodge their attacks, and stay healthied up. My team’s got the zone sewn up, which means we’re on top. If I can keep enemies at bay before they reach our zone, it reduces the number of adversaries my allies have to deal with – increasing our chances of winning the match.
Alone On The Zone
If you find yourself isolated without any allies and attempting to secure a victory on your own, it’s a precarious position. Given that you can reappear in zones during Overrun’s capture modes, it’s advisable to stay put and challenge the zone control, even when the odds seem unfavorable. Lennox’s healing abilities make him quite durable, enabling him to withstand multiple assailants trying to overrun the zone.
In games without the option to respawn, it’s usually wise to withdraw and survive for a later battle. If necessary, use your Claxton health pack while escaping. Simply make sure you don’t get eliminated and wait for your team to reinforce before pushing forward again.
