Does Inzoi Have Denuvo? Denuvo Status Explained

With each new PC game launch, Denuvo is once again a topic of discussion, as seen with Inzoi. This life simulation game is being favorably compared to The Sims in terms of scope and dominance within its genre; however, it may face challenges due to the use of the Denuvo software.

Over the years, the term “PC master race” has been tossed around casually, suggesting PC gamers are superior. However, more often than not, they receive the raw end of the deal. Despite the fact that PC offers the best gaming experience (provided you have the necessary hardware), it also comes with its own setbacks. It’s frequently left behind in terms of AAA game releases, is often suboptimal for the format, and grapples with Denuvo-related issues.

By the year 2025, Inzoi has made a significant impact – evident in its popularity on Steam as shown by its wishlist count. However, we’ll have to wait and see if it’s been affected by Denuvo.

Is Denuvo Used in Inzoi?

It’s good news as I can confirm Inzoi doesn’t support Denuvo, so you don’t have to worry.

It’s understandable that you might have concerns about Inzoi using Denuvo, given how busy Invoi can be at any given moment. Fortunately, the developer has clarified that Denuvo is not part of their current setup, but it’s important to note that this wasn’t always the case.

Previously, the game has included Denuvo, but it was removed during Early Access.

Why Was Denuvo Removed From Inzoi?

After receiving unfavorable comments from the community and a desire from the developers to provide a more expansive gaming experience, Denuvo was taken out of Inzoi with the aim of ensuring long-term enjoyment for the players.

Without warning, Inzoi implemented Denuvo during the Early Access phase, a move that was met with disapproval by players. However, it only took Inzoi Studio about 48 hours to recognize their mistake and reverse the decision.

80LV reports that Inzoi’s producer and game director Hyungjun “Kjun” Kim stated: “We accidentally applied Denuvo on our primary development build, which in turn affected the inZOI: Creative Studio demo build as well. Unfortunately, we neglected to inform players about this application during the demo phase, and we deeply regret not doing so.

It’s stated that not using Denuvo might make the game more vulnerable to piracy after its launch, but they’re urging Inzoi to offer more flexibility in customization – this would open up innovative opportunities for players to create unique gaming experiences for others.

Have you heard that Inzoi Studio has changed their mind on their previous decision? Should additional developers and publishers consider abandoning Denuvo’s copy protection software to provide a better gaming experience for PC users? We would love to hear your opinions on this matter.
