As a seasoned adventurer who’s seen more than a few temples and faced off against some peculiar creatures, I must say that your journey seems to be shaping up quite nicely. The Drunken Pig saga has been an intriguing one indeed!

In the vein of the hidden adventure presented in Chapter One of Black Myth: Wukong, I too found myself immersed in another clandestine mission within Chapter Two. This quest, if undertaken by players like me, unveils a forgotten corner of the map from yesteryears.

Here, you gain access to the Kingdom of Sahali, but achieving this requires overcoming some challenges and enlisting the aid of a tipsy pig to help it sober up.

As a seasoned adventurer with years of exploration under my belt, I can tell you that this pig is your ticket to a brand new corner of the map. However, embarking on this journey won’t be easy; you’ll have to track down certain items and conquer several bosses scattered throughout the terrain. Even the most skilled and inquisitive among us might find ourselves lost or overwhelmed at times. But fear not! Embrace the challenge, stay persistent, and remember that every obstacle overcome brings us one step closer to discovery.

No sweat! I’m here to lead you on this exciting adventure, helping you uncover that hidden zone without any unnecessary hassle. Let’s dive in together!

How To Start The Drunken Pig Quest

To embark on the adventure known as the Drunken Pig Quest, start by investigating Fright Cliff – a section of the map rich with resources such as Buddha Eyeballs, useful gadgets, and the formidable Stone Vanguard.

As I approach Rockrest Flat Shrine, I come across a fork in the path. To my left lies the ominous Stone Vanguard, while to my right stretches an expansive open area where I spot the pitiful Drunken Pig wallowing around.

He’ll instruct the player to find something to help him become sober, though exactly where that thing is right now might remain uncertain.

Getting The Sobering Stone

The object you’re seeking is known as the Sobering Stone, which can be found in a village situated past the Crouching Tiger Temple. To reach this locale, it’s essential that you first overcome the Tiger Vanguard guarding the path.

Once you’ve triumphed over them, venture towards the village situated beneath Windrest Bridge. A thorough examination of this region will lead you to discover a jar that sparkles gold. Breaking this jar will reveal the Sobering Stone.

Once you acquire this object, just return it to The Drunken Pig, then hand over the item there. This action will initiate the next phase of your quest.

Gathering Jade Lotus

After giving the Sobering Stone to the Drunken Pig, you’ll discover that he plans to search for food at the Crouching Tiger Temple. Thus, make your way to a nearby shrine and quickly teleport there instead.

Upon arrival, make your way up the stairs in the direction of the temple. However, before you get to the spot where you battled the Tiger Vanguard, veer right into the small alcove you’ll find there. In this nook, you will encounter the Pig once more. This time, you’ll have to offer him a Jade Lotus Flower to advance in your quest.

You can often find these plants in the wilderness, especially if you’ve been collecting plants during your adventures. If you haven’t already, you can locate this plant floating on top of water lilies in ponds or similar bodies of water.

If you don’t already possess a Jade Lotus Flower, the most efficient method to obtain one is by fast-traveling to the Interior of Black Wind Cave. After traveling, turn around promptly and you’ll discover some lilypads just behind your initial spawn location.

After getting the flower, I made my way back to the Crouching Tiger Temple and handed it over to that pig. Later, I returned to the place where our adventure initially began for the climax of this quest.

How To Defeat The Yellow Sage Squire

It’s likely obvious given the immense space where you initially met the Drunken Pig that a battle would be inevitable. You’ll spot the Yellow Sage Squire stationed in front of the big stone door on the right side of the expansive open area, and engaging them initiates the fight straight away.

To be honest, this battle isn’t overly challenging, and you probably don’t need a comprehensive guide. However, I’ve got a few handy suggestions for you in case you’re finding it difficult to defeat them:

  • Watch out for their Spear Rush attack. While it is very clearly telegraphed, it is a fast attack that requires a precise dodge
  • Their Chakram Swipes combo is best avoided by getting some distance
  • He is very easily staggered, so try to get as many heavy attacks and combo finishers in quick succession as possible
  • The Red Tides transformation is excellent for melting their health bar

Accessing The Kingdom of Sahali

Once you’ve successfully vanquished the Yellow Sage Squire, you’ll get an invitation to explore a hidden dimension together with the Pig. As a token of victory, you’ll be granted these rewards for your battle triumph over them.

  • 1037x Will
  • Snout Mask

Adding the Snout Mask to your headwear assortment is beneficial, as it provides an advantageous enhancement: boosting your attacks momentarily following the use of your Gourd.

However, the downside is that it lowers your attack if you refrain from using your Gourd, and its defensive stats pale in comparison to the Galeguard Beast Mask.

Once the skirmish at the Yellow Sage Squire is over, make your way towards the stone door in front of you. Upon crossing the threshold, you will find yourself in the secret location featured in chapter two.

However, there’s still much more to do, as you’ll need to face off against the Tiger Vanguard from the past, and fight the great beetle known as Fuban.
