After successfully returning from Topside, players need to decide what to do with their collected items. They can either break them down for parts or sell them for money, and many choose to sell for quick cash. However, it’s usually better to dismantle weapons and gear. The materials you get from dismantling are more helpful and valuable in the long run than the money you’d get from selling.
Just because an item is labeled “Recyclable” doesn’t mean you should break it down immediately. Many of these items are needed for quests or upgrades you haven’t unlocked yet, making them hard to replace. Plus, selling them later in the game can be more helpful – having a little extra money is often better than a few extra materials.
