Embark Studios, the team behind ARC Raiders, recently shared player statistics following the launch of their North Line update, and the numbers were quite unexpected. Since its release in October, ARC Raiders has proven to be a major hit, achieving record-breaking player counts.

Embark Studios continued to build on the success of ARC Raiders with the release of a significant free update called North Line. This update introduced two new enemy types – the Matriarch and the Shredder – along with new energy weapons. It also launched a community event where players worked together to unlock the Stella Montis map. The ARC Raiders community quickly unlocked the map in under 24 hours, and player feedback confirms it’s been very popular.

ARC Raiders Stella Montis Map Is Very Popular

Following the release of the North Line update in ARC Raiders, Embark Studios shared some interesting data about how players are enjoying the game. The Stella Montis map has proven incredibly popular, being visited over 25 million times in its first week! What makes Stella Montis unique is that it’s a large indoor location with multiple floors, offering a lot of vertical gameplay.

I was so hyped for the new map when ARC Raiders started its community event! It was crazy – players were donating resources so fast that the developers actually had to tweak the Breaking New Ground unlock event. Seriously, one player donated over 24,000 resources! They maxed out their Merits and still kept going, trying to help everyone get access. It was amazing to see how quickly the community came together.

Embark has revealed details about how players are interacting with the new enemies and hazards. The Shredder has defeated over 2.2 million players, but players have successfully defeated The Matriarch 26,923 times. The new Deadline mine is surprisingly powerful, capable of destroying even tough enemies, but it’s also dangerous – it’s taken down 37,218 players. Surprisingly, a simple Volcanic Rock has caused 117 players to eliminate themselves.

As a huge fan of Embark Studio’s The Finals, I’ve been so excited to see what they’re planning next! It’s great news that we won’t have to wait too long – their roadmap for ARC Raiders showed the ‘Cold Snap’ update is coming in December! From what I understand, it’s not just a new map with snowfall, but it also opens up expeditions, gives us new quests and a ‘Raider Deck’ to play with, and starts a cool event called ‘Flickering Flames’. I can’t wait to jump in!
