Battlefield 6’s Defibs Are Broken Right Now

A recent update to Battlefield 6 seems to have caused a problem with defibrillators – many players are reporting they aren’t working reliably. A developer at DICE has acknowledged the issue and said they’re looking into it, with a fix likely coming in the next update. While players can still try to use the defibrillator to revive teammates, it’s currently very unpredictable.

Okay, so the latest update for Battlefield 6, like with most games that are constantly updated, seems to have brought a few new little problems along with it. But honestly, it fixed a TON of bugs that were really bugging me! And there’s a bunch of cool new stuff to play. It was part of Season 1 support, and they added a brand new map, plus a limited-time game mode. As a big REDSEC fan, I was especially happy to see a new Gauntlet mission and a new map for Portal, too! It’s great to see them keep adding to the game.

Battlefield 6 Looking Into Broken Defibs

A recent update to Battlefield 6 has caused a significant problem: the defibrillators used by the Support class aren’t working correctly. Content creator Westie reported that many attempts to revive players with the defibrillator are failing. Fortunately, the developers at DICE are aware of the issue and are working on a solution. Florian, a designer on the game, confirmed they’ve received multiple reports about this bug. While there’s no timeframe for a fix yet, DICE is actively investigating.

Man, since the update this week, a lot of us are running into problems! Things like the targets in the firing range not resetting, and having to redo all our keybinds. Luckily, the big December 9th update is still coming, but hopefully, DICE will push out a quick hotfix soon to fix some of this stuff. They’ve been pretty good about fixing things fast – remember that crazy drone bug in Battlefield 6 where people could fly with it? They got on that right away, so I’m hoping they’ll do the same for these new issues.

Players aren’t just frustrated with bugs in the recent update; they’re also unhappy with the new Battlefield 6 map, Eastwood. Many are criticizing its small size and the way objectives are placed in Conquest mode. This map joins a growing list of disliked maps from the Battlefield community, with fans accusing DICE of making the game too similar to Call of Duty.
