Black Myth Wukong: Where to Find Yellow Loong (Chapter 4 Secret Boss)

As a seasoned gamer with countless hours spent traversing fantastical realms, I can confidently say that the pursuit of the elusive Yellow Loong in Black Myth: Wukong has been one of my most exhilarating adventures yet! The journey to find this secretive Yaoguai King is no walk in the park, but for those who are up for the challenge, it’s a thrilling testament to the game’s intricate design and attention to detail.

In the game “Black Myth: Wukong,” the enigmatic Yaoguai King known as the Yellow Loong is hidden. You’ll find this elusive boss in the Webbed Hollow, a crucial location within the fourth chapter of the game. However, players should be aware that they must complete some initial tasks before engaging the Yellow Loong in combat. This comprehensive guide will walk you through the entire process, helping you locate and fight the Yellow Loong in “Black Myth: Wukong.”

In simpler terms, the previously mentioned “initial tasks” involve overcoming the Loongs (Red, Black, and Cyan ones), and if you’ve managed to conquer these bosses already, you are welcome to proceed directly to the last part of this guide.

Black Myth Wukong: Yellow Loong Location

Get Loong Scales (Yellow Wind Ridge)

To start your quest for the elusive Yellow Loong, you need to get some special scales known as Loong Scales. These scales can be found in a secret chest nestled within the Yellow Wind Ridge. Here’s how to reach that chest:

  1. Follow the path beyond the Windseal Gate Keeper’s Shrine to reach a rope bridge.
  2. Climb the stairs that are beyond that bridge, and veer right when it is possible to do so.
  3. Pass through the ornate metal doors, and fall into the arena that is beyond them.
  4. Equip the Wandering Wight Spirit, and use its ability to crack the decorated wall in the arena.
  5. Pass through the crack.

Find & Beat Red Loong (Black Wind Mountain)

Equipped with Loong Scales, adventurers should revisit the enigmatic Black Wind Mountain. For enthusiasts of games rooted in Chinese folklore, seek out the location beyond the Forest Keeper’s Shrine hidden within the Wolves’ Forest and proceed by following these instructions:

  1. Follow the path beyond the Outside the Forest Keeper’s Shine, and go left at the fork.
  2. Follow the path, and veer left at the chest.
  3. Follow the path, and go left to access a water-filled area.
  4. Interact with the point in front of the waterfall, and pass through the gap that is revealed.

Now, players are entering a secret battlefield where the goal is to conquer Black Myth: Wukong’s Crimson Dragon, Red Loong.

Find & Beat Black Loong (Yellow Wind Ridge)

Players should now make their way to the Rockrest Flat Keeper’s Shrine, which is located within Yellow Wind Ridge’s Fright Cliff. Fans should then climb the stairs to the right of the Keeper’s Shrine, interact with the point in front of the falling sand, and enter the arena that is revealed. Here, players will encounter the Black Loong, and they must defeat this Yellow Wind Ridge boss in Black Myth: Wukong.

Find & Beat Cyan Loong (The New West)

Now it’s time for you to journey to the serene sanctuary known as the Turtle Island Keeper’s Shrine, nestled within the New West’s Bitter Lake. Once you reach this landmark, proceed towards the cliffs that offer a breathtaking view of the vast waterbody. There, at the edge, you’ll come across the formidable Cyan Loong – the boss in the New West region of Black Myth: Wukong. Defeating the Cyan Loong is essential if players aim to engage with the Yellow Loong in battle.

Go to Relief of the Fallen Loong (Webbed Hollow)

After defeating the Red, Black, and Cyan Loongs, players need to navigate towards the “Shrine of the Fallen Loong Keeper in Webbed Hollow,” which serves as a key checkpoint. For action game enthusiasts, the path leading to this shrine can be found by following the main route until they come across the “Shrine at the Cliff of Oblivion” in Webbed Hollow. To ensure complete understanding, this shrine is positioned right beside the corridor where players will meet Buddha’s Right Hand. Here’s a simple guide on how to travel from the Shrine at the Cliff of Oblivion to the Shrine of the Fallen Loong Keeper:

  1. Go left from the Cliff of Oblivion Keeper’s Shrine, passing through the corridor where the battle with Buddha’s Right Hand occurred.
  2. Cross the inert arm, and drop from the wooden platform that is beyond it.
  3. Turn right, follow the path to reach a wooden platform that overlooks a rope bridge, and drop from it.
  4. Cross the rope bridge, and follow the path to reach a narrow metal beam.
  5. Use Cloud Step to easily cross the beam.
  6. Follow the path to reach the Relief of the Fallen Loong Keeper’s Shrine.
