Dark Souls Undead Asylum in Minecraft
A Reddit user named ThickIllustrator794 recently shared an amazing Minecraft recreation of the Undead Asylum from Dark Souls. The Northern Undead Asylum is the starting point for players in the first Dark Souls game – they begin locked in a cell and must fight their way through a decaying prison before facing the Asylum Demon, the game’s first boss. Players can revisit this location later, making it an important part of both the gameplay and the overall story. To bring this iconic area to life in Minecraft, the user collaborated with fellow builders D0CT0R_Pau, who helped with the terrain and ruins, and mageofgaming, who designed the classic bonfire.
The team is planning to recreate the entire world of Lordran from Dark Souls in Minecraft, but they’re taking it one piece at a time. They’re currently working on the Firelink Shrine and Painted World, two well-known locations from the game. While there’s no set date for when the project will be finished, fans can follow the team’s progress on their Discord server.
Sandbox games are consistently popular because they let players express their creativity.
