PlayStation State of Play is Likely Coming in Late September, It’s Claimed

As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of gaming under my belt, the prospect of a PlayStation State of Play by the end of September has me buzzing like a kid on Christmas Eve. If Jeff Grubb’s claims hold water, it seems we might be on the verge of some exciting announcements, perhaps even a PS5 Pro reveal!

According to Jeff Grubb from Giant Bomb, it’s expected that a PlayStation State of Play broadcast might air before the month of September concludes.

During today’s Game Mess Mornings, I picked up a juicy rumor when Grubb discussed the PlayStation 5 Pro. He hinted, “There’s likely going to be a PlayStation State of Play before the end of September.” Although he didn’t provide specific details about what we might expect during this event, he and his guest speculated that it could involve an announcement about the PS5 Pro, possibly accompanied by a brief demonstration of games designed for the new console.

This year at Gamescom, there were many discussions surrounding the rumored PlayStation 5 Pro. Both wccftech and an Italian site named Multiplayer reportedly got word from developers that this new console is expected to be released.

It’s yet unclear when exactly the PlayStation 5 Pro will be officially revealed. This is because Sony keeps its departments separate to prevent leaks. However, it could logically happen before the Tokyo Game Show in 2024, which commences on September 26.

Based on information from our developers and manufacturers, it appears that the PlayStation 5 Pro should be launched approximately around mid-November.
