The Women of the eRena (WOTE) tournament was nothing short of electrifying! Watching Albaxna and Envy claim the first place prize of $20,000 was a heart-warming moment that will stay etched in my memory for years to come.

As a gaming enthusiast, I just wrapped up an exciting tournament hosted by Women of the eRena – a competition exclusive to women players in Fortnite! A whopping $75,000 prize pool was up for grabs, giving us all a chance to prove our skills and compete for a share of the winnings.

All-Women Fortnite Tournament Hosted By Wote

Over the weekend of August 24, 2024, WOTE’s latest all-female tournament kicked off. The best competitors managed to secure their spots in the final event that took place on August 25.

The competition consisted of six games, each played as duos. Three games took place on NA-Central servers, while the remaining three were hosted on EU servers. This setup aimed to minimize the impact of lag for players from various regions. The tournament followed the standard Battle Royale gameplay format, excluding the Zero Build mode.

Albaxna and Envy win WOTE Fortnite tournament

As a dedicated Fortnite fanatic, I’m thrilled to share that dynamic duo Albaxna and Envy clinched the top spot in the recent WOTE Fortnite tournament. Together, they pocketed an impressive $20,000! This remarkable victory is a testament to their skill and teamwork, especially as they hail from Europe. What a triumph for them!

Albaxna was also awarded the Tournament MVP by eRena, the company hosting the event.

The team ended the tournament with 578 points, almost 175 points more than second place, who ended the event with 405 points.

Women’s representation in esports is important and it is amazing seeing companies put on events as such. Hopefully, we see more opportunities in the future like this one.

This October, eRena is set to host the inaugural LAN event exclusively for women at Los Angeles Comic-Con. Known as The Milk Cup, this competition offers a grand prize of $250,000 and will take place on October 5, 2024.

This competition signifies a significant milestone in the world of electronic sports, serving to reinforce the idea that women have a place in esports. It’s truly thrilling to witness eRena’s dedication in bringing such an event to fruition.
