How to Remove Your Wanted Level in Star Wars Outlaws

As a seasoned gamer with countless hours under my belt, I can confidently say that Star Wars Outlaws has quickly become one of my favorite games to play. The thrill of being a thief on the run from the Empire is exhilarating, and Kay Vess’s antics with her sidekick Nix are nothing short of amusing.

With a knack for snatching items that aren’t securely fastened, accompanied by her partner Nix, Kay Vess often finds herself embroiled in troublesome situations more than most. This can be quite bothersome when attempting to finish a task, as the Empire is always hot on your heels. However, if you’re looking for a quick and simple way to clear your bounty in Star Wars Outlaws, here’s how!

How to Clear Your Wanted Level

If you find yourself saddled with an unwanted police pursuit (oh dear!), there are several strategies available for you to exonerate yourself and carry on advancing within the narrative. Let me show you some ways to eliminate that annoying wanted status:

  • Seek out an Imperial Terminal and hack into its mainframe to clear your status. If you’re good at the hacking minigame, you can score a few credits or other valuable rewards as a bonus.
  • Look for a Corrupt Officer stationed around the map. They’ll accept a bribe if you have enough credits to satiate them. As you explore more of the game world, you will inevitably stumble upon Corrupt Imperial Officers, which will appear marked on your map as a yellow Imperial icon.
  • If you only suffer from the calamity of a low wanted level, you can run, wait, or hide from the Imperial forces seeking your arrest. They’ll call it off if the wanted level is low enough. But if you have a high wanted level, they’ll call our additional ground and air forces to find you, including Death Troopers!

In Star Wars Outlaws, many battles can be navigated more smoothly if you choose stealth overtures in most conflicts, as the gameplay seems to run more fluidly this way.

How to Get Rid of a Wanted Level in Space

Absolutely, your adventures don’t always take place on solid ground. At times, you’re called upon to engage with the Empire beyond Earth, and it’s during these cosmic encounters that the Imperial Satellites become essential players.

Adventuring through the cosmos with a fervent spirit that seems to make the stars quiver, I find myself constantly looking over my shoulder as Imperial enforcers relentlessly chase me. Don’t forget to scan your map for the distinctive Imperial symbol, which signifies an Imperial Satellite. This concept is reminiscent of the familiar Imperial Terminals found on planets below.

When approaching the Imperial Satellite, you’ll encounter a message instructing you to press and hold the ‘interact’ button in order to ‘Resolve Wanted Situation.’

You need not concern yourself with your credits as clearing your wanted level in Star Wars Outlaws via the Imperial Satellite system won’t cost you a dime!
