Canadian Leaves DarkZero On Rough Terms After Three Years On the Team

As a long-time follower of Canadian‘s illustrious career in Rainbow Six Siege, I can’t help but feel a pang of sadness as he departs from DarkZero. His move to Soniqs might be the spark that ignites their roster, but it’s hard not to sympathize with his feelings of disappointment.

Troy ‘Canadian’ Jaroslawski, one of the most accomplished Rainbow Six players ever, has decided to leave DarkZero and join Soniqs for the rest of the season. After a short break from competition in 2021, Canadian joined DarkZero and quickly helped the team win the Six Charlotte Major.

Now, he’s moving away from the team, but it’s not an amicable departure.

‘I Deserved Better’

As a dedicated fan, I’m sharing an update that left me quite surprised. DarkZero, my favorite esports team, recently announced the departure of one of their Canadian players via a heartfelt social media post, complete with a montage of his most memorable moments. However, the player himself responded with a powerful statement, casting doubt on the circumstances surrounding his exit.

After investing three years of my time, energy, selflessness, and mental effort into this team, I felt I was owed more than just a sudden, unexplained outcome without any dialogue or effort to address problems. It would be disingenuous not to express my disappointment in the way most of the team managed this situation.

He followed up with a post explaining that he ‘didn’t belong’ at DarkZero and that he’s wholeheartedly looking forward to his future at Soniqs.

Canadian has been a Two-Time Six Invitational Champion and amassed numerous victories at other tournaments throughout his extensive career. Recently, I witnessed him play in Manchester, England at the BLAST Rainbow Six Major, an event that will be remembered as one of his final competitions with DarkZero.

With only a few games left this season, Canadian team will finish off the current schedule playing alongside Soniqs. After that, they’ll be focusing on what lies ahead.
