Two Southeast Asian qualifying tournaments are scheduled, each hosting six teams hailing from Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand. This results in a grand total of twelve Southeast Asian teams participating.

Two squads, one each from New Zealand and Australia, will have an opportunity to participate. The qualifying rounds are scheduled for the period between September 21st and 25th.

Following the preliminary rounds, the qualifying teams will go head-to-head with four specially invited professional squads. The victors from this stage will progress towards the Grand Finals. This part of the competition is scheduled for September 28-29.

As a gamer myself, I’m super excited about Samsung’s strategy for this major tournament series – they’re using it as an opportunity to showcase their latest gaming marvel, the 32-inch Odyssey G8 OLED monitor! This bad boy can crank up to an incredible 240Hz refresh rate and boasts a blazing fast response time of just 0.03 seconds. That makes it one heck of a contender among top-tier gaming monitors out there.
