Star Wars Outlaws Early Access Players Are Being Asked to Restart with New Saves

As a seasoned gamer with decades of experience under my belt, I can’t help but feel a twinge of déjà vu when it comes to Star Wars Outlaws Early Access. It seems like every new game launch these days comes with its own set of surprises, and this latest development is no exception.

Because of the initial update, Ubisoft is advising all early access players of Star Wars Outlaws to begin anew with fresh save files.

The early access phase for Star Wars Outlaws has commenced, granting Gold and Ultimate Edition owners three days of advanced play in Ubisoft’s latest open-world adventure. However, it is advisable to update the game with the day one patch before proceeding, as any progress made during this period may be void, and players will need to start anew with a fresh save.

Following the release of the latest update, players of Star Wars Outlaws Gold and Ultimate Edition on PS5 received an email suggesting that for the optimal Star Wars Outer Rim experience, they should play the most recent version of the game. The developers mentioned potential problems that players using the previous version might encounter due to this new patch.

Therefore, the makers of Star Wars Outlaws asked early access players to upgrade to version 1.000.002 and begin anew with their saves for a more enjoyable gaming experience. They’ve also cautioned that persisting with the previous save may result in encountering problems and progression obstacles.

Consequently, players must discard their current advancements and begin anew, or risk encountering greater challenges ahead within the game. However, such a requirement may prove inconvenient for players who have already spent considerable time playing the game.
