I first jumped into the Metro series back in 2010 with Metro 2033, and it totally hooked me. It’s based on these awesome post-apocalyptic novels by Dmitry Glukhovsky. A good way to discover these locations is by scaring a Scout in your camp – this will reveal all nearby points of interest and clear the fog from your map. Once you’ve scared the Scout, check your map for Lairs (marked with paw icons) and see if they contain Elite animals.
