To engage the Yellow Loong battle, players should first defeat the initial three Loongs in a specific sequence.
- Red Loong: Go to the waterfall near Outside the Forest Keeper’s Shrine.
- Black Loong: Climb the stairs on the right side of Rockrest Flat Keeper’s Shrine and interact with the sand falling.
- Cyan Loong: On a cliff near Turtle Island Keeper’s Shrine.
After defeating the trio, players must proceed to the Cliff of Oblivion Keeper’s Shrine, a place where they had previously encountered Buddha’s Right Hand. Traverse across this area and move downwards until you spot a rope bridge. Continue along the path, and eventually, you will arrive at the Relief of the Fallen Loong Keeper’s Shrine.

Defeat Yellow Loong To Obtain The Golden Loong Staff
Starting from the ruins of the Fallen Loong Keeper’s Shrine, proceed straight ahead until you spot the gazebo. As you get closer, be prepared for an encounter with the Yellow Loong. This Loong is significantly stronger than all the previous ones combined. His attacks can accumulate Shock, which means players will receive increased damage once this meter is full.
Players can use
to remove Shock status ailment, and temporarily gain extra resistance.
Success in this battle lies in knowing when to evade Yellow Long’s assaults. He’s swift and unpredictable, but his moves follow a discernible pattern. For example, he initiates with a thrust forward and follows it up with a sweeping strike. It would be more effective to dodge towards rather than away from him, as the second attack could catch you off guard.
As his health drops to around 60%, he’ll gather power, leap into the air, and unleash several attacks in succession. It’s crucial for players to watch for his hand movements and dodge at the exact moment he finishes his arm motion. Dodging too early or too late can lead to substantial damage.
As a gamer, I gotta say, keep in mind that Yellow Loong’s moveset is quite complex with long combos, and it gets more intricate as the battle goes on. When things get too hectic, don’t hesitate to cast the Immobilize spell to catch your breath before jumping back into the fray.
After defeating Yellow Loong, players can create one of the finest weapons within the game.
