I’ve been using the MOZA AB6 flight simulator bundle for about a month now, and it’s a significant improvement over my previous setup in terms of quality and how realistic it feels. To be honest, I’m relatively new to flight simulators – I only started getting into them about a year ago because my nine-year-old son is really into planes. Of course, as someone who enjoys gadgets, I wanted to join in on the fun too!
Okay, so I’d already dropped almost $1500 building a pretty good flight sim rig. When MOZA reached out and offered me a chance to test their new AB6 flight stick, I was totally in – I had to try it out!
MOZA has a solid reputation in both flight and racing simulation. Their previous flight stick, the AB9, was a hit with flight sim enthusiasts. Now, with the AB6, they’re offering a more budget-friendly option at $399. While that price might seem high if you’re not familiar with flight simulator gear, it’s actually quite competitive compared to similar products.
A Fully-Immersive Product
As a flight sim fan, I was really impressed with the MOZA AB6. It’s got a powerful force-feedback base – up to 6 Nm of torque, which is about half of what the AB9 offers. Now, that might seem like a big drop-off, but honestly, the AB6 is way more affordable, and it comes with the flight stick included! The AB9 doesn’t include that. It feels like MOZA really focused on getting more people into flight simming without breaking the bank, and I think they nailed it. It’s a great balance of performance and price.

The force feedback really made a huge difference for both me and my son – it completely pulled us into the experience, and we don’t want to go back to how we used to play. I’d definitely suggest starting with force feedback if you’re getting into this hobby, rather than upgrading later – it’s worth the investment from the beginning.
A Hidden Gem of a Feature
I didn’t realize until I got the MOZA AB6 that it can also function as a shifter for racing simulations. If you’re tired of constantly switching hardware like I was, the AB6 lets you easily adjust a few settings and change from a flight stick to a shifter, letting you seamlessly switch between flying and driving.

AB6 Overall Thoughts
