Black Myth: Wukong – All Flaming Mountains Meditation Spots

Black Myth: Wukong - All Flaming Mountains Meditation Spots

As a seasoned gamer with countless hours spent navigating fantastical landscapes and battling mythical beasts, I can’t help but feel a sense of excitement when I come across a new location as intriguing as the Flaming Mountains in Black Myth: Wukong. The sight of lava flowing beneath my feet might make some folks run for cover, but not me! The allure of hidden treasures and the promise of powerful upgrades have always been irresistible.

Following the skirmish against the fiery Yaoguais at the beginning of Chapter 5, adventurers will gain access to the scorching, yet potentially rewarding, region known as the Flaming Mountains. Despite their less-than-appealing visuals due to the constant lava flows, these areas are rich in valuable loot, materials, and precious Celestial Pills. Moreover, players can engage with the final four Meditation Spots within this area to earn the “Scenic Seeker” Trophy/Achievement.

The Meditation Spots also grant Sparks, which players will look for to unlock more abilities in the Skill Tree. This guide includes the location of all the Meditation Spots in the Flaming Mountains in Black Myth: Wukong.

Meditation Spot #1: The Relief

  • Closest Keeper’s Shrine: Camp of Seasons (Woods of Ember)

Starting from the Seasons Keeper’s Shrine encampment, take a left at the bridge when it appears. When you notice several enemies on your right side, keep moving left until you find a path leading into a tiny cave. Inside this cave, there’s a Yaoguai hanging from the ceiling. As you traverse the wooden bridge, veer right to avoid an Archer firing at you. Then, ascend the stairs to reach the Meditation Spot located on a higher wooden platform.

Meditation Spot #2: The Buddha

  • Closest Keeper’s Shrine: The Emerald Hall (Furnace Valley)

Upon reaching The Emerald Hall, you’ll first encounter a sequence involving a cutscene and a battle against both the Keeper of Flaming Mountains and the Yin-Yang Fish. Once the fight concludes, spin around and make your way towards the balcony. To locate the second Meditation Spot, cast your gaze to your right side.

Meditation Spot #3: The Crag

  • Closest Keeper’s Shrine: Ashen Pass III (Field of Fire)

Make your way through the chapter until you get to the Ashen Pass III Keeper’s Shrine. Near the Shrine, there’s a little space. Continue straight ahead in that direction, and you’ll eventually come across a Meditation Area towards the end.

There is a red mushroom in the middle of this area, which initiates the
Nine-Capped Lingzhi Guai
boss fight upon pulling. The boss drops a Headgear, some Seeds, and
its Spirit, which can be useful in specific encounters
.

Meditation Spot #4: The Screen

  • Closest Keeper’s Shrine: Purge Pit (Secret: Bishui Cave)

To locate the hidden Meditation Spot, players should navigate towards the concealed region in the Flaming Mountains, which is known as the Bishui Cave. Access to this cave becomes available only after defeating all the Element Carts. Once you’ve reached the shrine of the Purge Pit Keeper, instead of descending the stairs, head to the right side to discover the Meditation Spot.
