Black Ops 6 Beta Is Great, Even With The Cheaters

As a seasoned gamer with over two decades under my belt, I’ve seen it all – from the rise and fall of gaming giants to the evolution of graphics that would put the first games I played to shame. The Black Ops 6 beta has dropped, and let me tell you, it’s a thrill ride!

The beta for Black Ops 6 has commenced, with multitudes of players rushing to the platform, eager to sample the upcoming installment in the Call of Duty series. This is a preliminary phase, but the full-fledged public beta will be accessible starting from September 6.

This year, there wasn’t much surprise, but the general feeling towards Black Ops 6 is overwhelmingly positive so far. I’ve been fully immersed in the Black Ops 6 beta and I’m happy to share that it’s strong overall, despite the fact that some cheaters have already made their unwelcome appearance.

Inevitable

Videos have appeared online displaying individuals exploiting the Black Ops 6 beta test, an event that unfortunately isn’t too shocking. As soon as a new Call of Duty game is unveiled, developers of cheats and hacks quickly gear up to create them. It seems odd, but there are certain individuals who derive pleasure from cheating during the beta testing phase.

Those very individuals believed they could reap benefits by dishonestly playing the free-to-play version of the Delta Force shooter game.

Leaving cheating out of the equation, Black Ops 6 stands firmly and could potentially be one of the best Call of Duty games in years. Its Cold War theme resonates deeply with many players like myself, but the innovative feature ‘Omnimovement’ takes it to another level. The game flows seamlessly, with the new movement mechanics making it a joy to navigate the map freely and without restraint.

How Does The Black Ops 6 Beta Play?

In the Black Ops 6 beta, the weapons seem remarkably well-balanced and visually stunning, with impressive sounds too. I think Treyarch has done an excellent job creating a top-notch game in terms of its aesthetic appeal. It performs smoothly on high-end PCs, and the user interface and menus are neatly designed.

The beta’s maps are fantastic, and I particularly like Derelict due to its overall “post-apocalyptic” atmosphere. I don’t have any problems with Scud or Skyline, and all three maps seem straightforward to grasp. For now, they’re meeting the essential requirements, but it remains to be seen how they perform in competitive play.

In the thrill of my initial gaming sessions, I struck gold by landing the ideal blend of maps and game modes, savoring Team Deathmatch, Hardpoint, and Domination on every single map. As I delved deeper into the action, it was tough to spot any significant flaws in Black Ops 6. The experience was nothing short of fantastic!

My main concern is the Time-to-Kill (TTK) seems to be inconsistent. Occasionally, defeating an enemy requires a significant effort, which I attribute to the highly detailed hitboxes in Black Ops 6, meaning accuracy and shot placement are crucial.

In some situations during intense combat, it’s challenging to distinguish between players and inanimate objects when using Omnimovement due to its likeness to a human body from certain perspectives.

Meta weapons are starting to appear, and players who focus on movement are really enjoying themselves. In general, it appears to be user-friendly for casual gamers as well. Even though I haven’t played Call of Duty seriously for several months, I was able to achieve a very high kill-death ratio in every match, and our own Tom Henderson even managed to earn a nuke in his second game.

This year, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will be accessible on Game Pass, making it a risk-free choice for subscribers. Based on the latest trailers and leaked footage, the campaign appears captivating, the Zombies mode seems tailored to please fans, and the multiplayer platform, as tested, has shown great potential for entertainment.

As a dedicated gamer, I’m diving back into the Black Ops 6 beta, and so far, it’s looking pretty fantastic. It might just be the breath of fresh air that Call of Duty has been missing these past years. If Activision can tackle the cheater problem effectively, this game could be an undeniable hit without a doubt.
