NYT Connections Hints Today (#904)—Clues and Answers for Tuesday, December 2

It’s finally the holiday season! Take a break from gift wrapping, decorating, and twinkling lights to challenge yourself with today’s NYT Connections puzzle and keep your streak going. Start your day with a little brain teaser fun!

Below, I’ve got the NYT Connections hints and solutions you need for today’s puzzle.

What is NYT Connections?

I should probably give you some background information before sharing today’s hints for the NYT Connections game.

NYT Connections launched in June 2023 as the newest game from the New York Times, and it quickly became popular. Its accessibility is a major reason why – it’s free to play and available globally on computers and mobile devices through the New York Times.

NYT Connections is a great way to pass the time, like when you’re commuting or waiting in line for coffee.

But how do you play NYT Connections?

It’s relatively simple, and that’s why it’s the best New York Times game, in my opinion.

Each day, the New York Times will give you a set of 16 words. Your challenge is to organize them into four groups of four, based on what they have in common. There’s only one correct solution to each puzzle, and because some words can have multiple meanings, it can sometimes be challenging to solve.

The words are also color-coded to show how challenging they are: yellow is the easiest, followed by blue, then green, and finally purple, which is the most difficult.

The key thing to remember is you only get four attempts each day. Use them all, and you won’t be able to solve today’s NYT Connections puzzle – that’s when the game ends.
