Following the debut of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, while the anime has achieved significant success, Satoru Honma, community manager of CD Projekt’s Japanese branch, initially announced it as a standalone series due to its conclusive ending. Such a decision was aimed at preserving the emotional impact of the conclusion by avoiding potential continuation that might diminish its power. However, recent remarks from Nowakowshi have sparked speculation among fans about possible additional Edgerunners content.
