How to Get Uncivil Discourse (& the God Roll)
What’s the God Roll for Uncivil Discourse?
- Uncivil Discourse can be acquired through Renegades Activities on the Lawless Frontier.
- Uncivil Discourse is inspired by the DL-44, a weapon used by Han Solo.
- PvE God Roll: Cooling Baubles, Jolting Feedback
- PvP God Roll: Lone Wolf, Opening Shot
Uncivil Discourse is a powerful Hand Cannon that uses Arc energy and fires quickly – 180 rounds per minute. It hits hard and has good range, making it a top contender for both style and effectiveness in the game.
Here’s the PvE God Roll for Uncivil Discourse:
| Barrel | Arrowhead Break |
| Magazine | Accelerated Heatsink |
| Perk 1 | Cooling Baubles |
| Perk 2 | Jolting Feedback |
| Masterwork | Vent Speed |
| Weapon Mod | Tactical |
Cooling Baubles, elemental pickups, and Orbs of Power help keep your weapon from overheating, letting you fire for longer without pausing to cool down. Jolting Feedback is particularly useful with Arc weapons, and it works really well with fast-firing Hand Cannons because quickly dealing damage builds up the Jolt effect faster.
Here’s the PvP God Roll for Uncivil Discourse:
| Barrel | Hammer-Forged Rifling |
| Magazine | Projection Fuse |
| Perk 1 | Lone Wolf |
| Perk 2 | Opening Shot |
While Uncivil Discourse isn’t top-tier in player-versus-player combat because it needs Special Ammo, Lone Wolf is a solid pick for players who prefer to fight alone and need improved accuracy. Plus, Opening Shot gives you a better first shot with increased range and precision – just like Han Solo!
How to Get Refurbished A499 (& the God Roll)
What’s the God Roll for Refurbished A499?
- Refurbished A499 can be acquired through Renegades Activities on the Lawless Frontier.
- The Refurbished A499 is inspired by the Amban Sniper Rifle, a weapon used by Mandalorians.
- PvE God Roll: Snapshot Sights, Aggregate Charge
- PvP God Roll: n/a
The Refurbished A499 is a powerful sniper rifle that performs well in PvE activities. It deals significant damage, making it a solid choice for dealing damage compared to other sniper rifles currently. However, the combination of traits it can have isn’t ideal.
Here’s the PvE God Roll for the Refurbished A499:
| Barrel | Arrowhead Break |
| Magazine | Flared Magwell |
| Perk 1 | Snapshot Sights |
| Perk 2 | Aggregate Charge |
The Snapshot Sights mod speeds up how quickly you aim down sights and makes your aim more stable. This lets you target enemy weak points faster when you start dealing damage to tougher opponents. For your second mod, we suggest Aggregate Charge. This increases the weapon’s damage when enemies have elemental debuffs, which is helpful in most situations, especially since heavy weapons are usually used against bosses you’ll be debuffing anyway.
The Refurbished A499 isn’t suitable for Player versus Player combat because it’s a Heavy Weapon, and those aren’t eligible for PvP rolls.
How to Get Compact Defender (& the God Roll)
What’s the God Roll for Compact Defender?
- Compact Defender can be acquired through Renegades Activities on the Lawless Frontier.
- Compact Defender is inspired by the Defender Sporting Blaster Pistol, a weapon used by Leia Organa.
- PvE God Roll: Destabilizing Rounds, Repulsor Brace
- PvP God Roll: Delicate Tuning, Precision Instrument
The Compact Defender is a fast-firing, Void-damage pistol that shoots 360 rounds per minute. It’s a strong weapon due to its high initial damage, quick fire rate, and excellent Perks, making Void energy abilities very effective.
Here’s the PvE God Roll for the Compact Defender:
| Barrel | Arrowhead Brake |
| Magazine | Accelerated Heatsink |
| Perk 1 | Destabilizing Rounds |
| Perk 2 | Repulsor Brace |
Okay, so if I’m running Void weapons, especially something that fires quickly like the Compact Defender, there are two perks I always make sure to have. First is Destabilizing Rounds – it makes enemies explode with Void energy when I take them down, which weakens others and gives me special, boosted ammo. Then there’s Repulsor Brace. Basically, whenever I kill an enemy that’s already been weakened by that Void explosion, I get a temporary shield. It’s a really strong combo because Destabilizing Rounds pretty much guarantees I’ll be getting those shields!
Here’s the PvP God Roll for the Compact Defender:
| Barrel | Corkscrew Rifling |
| Magazine | Overclocked Heatsink |
| Perk 1 | Delicate Tuning |
| Perk 2 | Precision Instrument |
The Compact Defender is a handgun, making it less effective in player-versus-player combat. However, certain perks, like Delicate Tuning, can boost its range, handling, and accuracy when it’s not overheated, which is helpful for long-range engagements. Combining this with Precision Instrument, which increases damage on accurate shots, can help you secure kills.
How to Get All or Nothing (& the God Roll)
What’s the God Roll for All or Nothing?
- All or Nothing can be acquired through Renegades Activities on the Lawless Frontier.
- All or Nothing is inspired by the EE-3 Carbine Rifle, a weapon used by Boba Fett.
- PvE God Roll: Firefly, Sword Logic
- PvP God Roll: Perpetual Motion, Headseeker
All or Nothing is a Pulse Rifle that deals a lot of damage, but quickly builds up heat when fired. It falls into the ‘Dynamic Heat’ weapon class, meaning its power comes with a trade-off: high damage output combined with fast heat accumulation.
Here’s the PvE God Roll for All or Nothing:
| Barrel | Fluted Barrel |
| Magazine | Accelerated Heatsink |
| Perk 1 | Firefly |
| Perk 2 | Sword Logic |
The All or Nothing perk offers several benefits, and we started by choosing Firefly. This makes precise final hits explode enemies and speeds up venting, which is perfect for this weapon’s accuracy and stability. Because All or Nothing already fires quickly and deals significant damage, we added Sword Logic. This perk further boosts the weapon’s power with each enemy defeated – eliminating five enemies rapidly grants a 50% damage increase.
Here’s the PvP God Roll for All or Nothing:
| Barrel | Smallbore |
| Magazine | Tactical Heatsink |
| Perk 1 | Perpetual Motion |
| Perk 2 | Headseeker |
The ‘All or Nothing’ perk is also useful in player-versus-player combat. ‘Perpetual Motion’ helps keep your weapon stable, improves handling, and speeds up venting while you’re moving. For your second perk, ‘Headseeker’ is a strong choice. Landing a body shot with it boosts your precision damage and aim assist, meaning a body shot followed by a headshot will usually eliminate another Guardian.
How to Get M-17 “Fast Talker” (& the God Roll)
What’s the God Roll for M-17 “Fast Talker”?
- M-17 “Fast Talker” can be acquired through Renegades Activities on the Lawless Frontier.
- M-17 “Fast Talker” is inspired by the DC-17m, a weapon used by Clone Commandos.
- PvE God Roll: Cooling Baubles, Crystalline Corpsebloom
- PvP God Roll: Killing Wind, Target Lock
The M-17 “Fast Talker” is a Stasis submachine gun designed to quickly take down tough enemies without overheating. While each shot doesn’t hit incredibly hard, it fires very rapidly at 900 rounds per minute, making it a fast-firing weapon.
Here’s the PvE God Roll for the M-17 “Fast Talker”:
| Barrel | Hammer-Forged Rifling |
| Magazine | Tactical Heatsink |
| Perk 1 | Cooling Baubles |
| Perk 2 | Crystalline Corpsebloom |
The M-17 “Fast Talker” offers several useful upgrades, but Cooling Baubles is a smart pick. It prevents the weapon from overheating quickly, letting you take advantage of power-ups and elemental pickups to manage heat. The real strength of this SMG comes from its second perk: Crystalline Corpsebloom creates freezing crystals whenever you defeat enemies quickly, helping you maintain control in crowded spaces.
Here’s the PvP God Roll for the M-17 “Fast Talker”:
| Barrel | Smallbore |
| Magazine | Tactical Heatsink |
| Perk 1 | Killing Wind |
| Perk 2 | Target Lock |
The M-17 “Fast Talker” has several useful features for player-versus-player combat. We chose the Killing Wind perk because it gives you a speed boost, longer reach, and better weapon control for 5.5 seconds after getting a kill. Target Lock is another strong option, as it increases your damage output when continuously firing at a single enemy, helping you outgun your opponents.
How to Get Modified B-7 Pistol (& the God Roll)
What’s the God Roll for Modified B-7 Pistol?
- Modified B-7 Pistol can be acquired through Renegades Activities on the Lawless Frontier.
- The Modified B-7 Pistol is inspired by the K-16 Bryar Pistol, a weapon used by the Rebel Alliance.
- PvE God Roll: Firefly, Headstone
- PvP God Roll: Delicate Tuning, Opening Shot
The Modified B-7 Pistol is a Stasis Hand Cannon firing at 180 rounds per minute. It features a Dynamic Heat Frame, which increases its damage and reduces cooldown times, but also causes it to overheat more quickly.
Here’s the PvE God Roll for the Modified B-7 Pistol:
| Barrel | Fluted Barrel |
| Magazine | Enhanced Heatsink |
| Perk 1 | Firefly |
| Perk 2 | Headstone / Thermal Atomization |
Firefly is an excellent perk for most weapons, but it really shines with Hand Cannons, where making each shot count is crucial. Landing precise hits with this perk speeds up your reload and makes your target explode, dealing Solar damage to enemies nearby. If you’re also using the Headstone perk, those precision kills will create both a Solar explosion and a Stasis crystal. Or, if you choose Thermal Atomization, you’ll deal more damage and cause enemies to explode when your weapon gets hot.
Here’s the PvP God Roll for the Modified B-7 Pistol:
| Barrel | Arrowhead Break |
| Magazine | Projection Fuse |
| Perk 1 | Delicate Tuning |
| Perk 2 | Opening Shot |
The Modified B-7 Pistol isn’t top-tier for player-versus-player combat, but the perks mentioned can improve it. These perks boost the weapon’s handling, accuracy, and range – all things this Hand Cannon needs to really shine with its powerful hits and maintain damage at a distance.
So, I’m on the hunt for the Bowcaster, that new Exotic weapon! It drops in the Equilibrium Dungeon, and it’s finally available starting December 13th. I’m super excited to try and get my hands on it!
