In the first area of Metroid Prime 4, called Fury Green, you’ll find a room named the Sanctum of Guardians. This room contains a device that plays Psychic Recordings. However, if you visit this room before defeating the area’s boss, you won’t be able to understand how the device works or what it’s for.
This guide will tell you what the Sanctum of the Guardians does in Metroid Prime 4: Beyond and how to complete its challenge.
What to do in Fury Green’s Sanctum of the Guardians in Metroid Prime 4
Boss Logs
The Sanctum of the Guardians isn’t a puzzle at all. It’s where you can find the data logs for all the main bosses in Metroid Prime 4 if you didn’t scan them during the battles.

Leaving the Sanctum and going through the large southern door will take you to a battle with Carvex in the Garden of Remembrance. Beating Carvex unlocks Psychic Bombs, a new ability for your Morph Ball. When you return to the Sanctum of the Guardians, you’ll find things are different.
Examine the second statue from the left – when using Visor mode, you’ll find a psychic node there. Pick it up and place it in the device located in the center of the room. Next, move the glowing purple crystal and insert it into the slot at the 10 o’clock position on the upper left.
This will generate a hologram of Carvex, the boss you just defeated, allowing you to scan it and add its information to the data log. If you already scanned Carvex during the battle, you can skip this step.
Okay, so I found out that after you beat each of the five big bosses in Metroid Prime 4, their holograms show up in this one specific room. That’s awesome because it means I can go back and check out their logs anytime, even after I’ve already defeated them. Super helpful for completionists like me!
