Players of ARC Raiders are asking developer Embark Studios to quickly fix a new, serious problem in the game. A glitch on the Blue Gate map lets players reach areas they aren’t supposed to, effectively making them invincible. While ARC Raiders has been praised by players and critics as one of the best multiplayer games of 2025, the game has been plagued with exploits and bugs that significantly disrupt gameplay.
When Embark Studios decided to release ARC Raiders between the launches of the new Battlefield (October 10th) and Call of Duty (November 14th) games, many gamers thought it wouldn’t succeed. It seemed like a risky move, launching a new shooter right between two of the biggest franchises in gaming. However, the gamble seems to have paid off handsomely. ARC Raiders has not only been nominated for Best Multiplayer Game at the 2025 Game Awards, but it’s also seeing a huge number of players and remains one of the most popular games on Steam.
ARC Raiders Has Another Serious Exploit
The game is doing well, but it’s facing another problem with a new, serious exploit. Over the past few days, players have been posting about others finding a way to glitch through the map at Blue Gate, specifically near Checkpoint and a small building that leads to underground tunnels. They’re managing to get behind the scenery and underneath the map, allowing them to eliminate opponents without any risk to themselves. While some might be tempted to try it, using exploits like this could result in a ban if other players report it.
Fans are understandably upset about recent exploits in the game. One player shared a similar experience on Reddit, urging developers to address the issue. Others labeled the glitching as disappointing, with some even saying it’s making them consider quitting. While there’s been debate about player-versus-player combat, the community agrees that these exploits are the biggest problem, and are detracting from what is otherwise a fun game.
This isn’t the first time players of ARC Raiders have been frustrated by an exploit. Just recently, a similar problem appeared on the Stella Montis map, allowing some players to glitch outside the playable area and move unseen along the ceiling. Like before, this gives those using the exploit a significant and unfair advantage. Because ARC Raiders players risk losing valuable items with every raid, Embark needs to fix this issue quickly.
Players are hoping the game developers quickly release a fix for the current issues. The studio recently made players happy by releasing an update for ARC Raiders that fixed a well-known problem with locked doors. Previously, a glitch let players enter rooms without the necessary keycard. Now, anyone who tries to exploit this glitch will be instantly killed, as flamethrowers will activate and burn the room, eliminating the player.
