LEGO Reveals New Modular Buildings Set for 2026

LEGO just unveiled its newest modular building set for 2026, letting fans create their own unique downtown shopping area. For over 75 years, LEGO has been known for its creative building bricks, constantly exploring new ideas. While LEGO started with simple plastic bricks, it’s grown to include themed sets like pirates and castles, the popular LEGO City, and even partnerships with brands like Nintendo and Minecraft. Among all these offerings, the Modular series stands out as a particularly special and well-regarded line.

LEGO’s Modular Buildings are known for being some of their most impressive and challenging sets. The series started in 2007 with the “Cafe Corner” set, which had over 2,000 pieces and let builders connect different Modular sets to create unique designs. LEGO has even made Modular versions of some of its partnered sets, like those featuring Batman and Marvel characters, so fans can incorporate them into their builds. Now, LEGO is adding another exciting set to this popular series.

LEGO Reveals Shopping Street 2026 Modular Set

LEGO has just unveiled its latest Modular Buildings set, Shopping Street, which is scheduled for release next year. This detailed set contains 3,456 pieces and features shops like a music store and furniture store. Its modular design lets builders customize their LEGO shopping area by rearranging the buildings – each one includes an apartment on the upper floors. The set comes with lots of mini-figures representing the residents of Shopping Street. It will be available starting January 4th for $249.99.

LEGO is adding a new set to its popular modular building collection in January 2025: the Tudor Corner. This detailed set contains 3,266 pieces and lets builders create a tavern, clockmaker’s workshop, and apartment, all within a 13-inch-high structure. Unlike previous modular sets which featured modern designs, the Tudor Corner draws inspiration from 16th-century English architecture, offering a unique look and feel.

Is LEGO Modular 2025 Better Than 2026?

The Shopping Street set is eye-catching, but Tudor Corner is a strong contender, offering a beautifully detailed design inspired by classic British buildings. It’s a challenging build even for experienced LEGO fans, and comes with eight unique mini-figures. The set is also full of bright, colorful details that will impress anyone who builds it.
