After 4 Years, Boruto’s New Power Officially Surpasses Naruto’s Baryon Mode

This article contains spoilers from the Boruto series.

The Boruto series delivered some truly amazing moments featuring Naruto Uzumaki. While the story focuses on Boruto, Naruto still had several key scenes, particularly early on, and one of the most impressive was the introduction of Baryon Mode. To defeat Isshiki Otsutsuki, Naruto risked everything and used this powerful ability, pushing himself further than he ever had before.

This moment is still considered a major high point of the Boruto series. However, it appears the creator, Kishimoto, is determined to push the boundaries of power even further than before. With the new idea of people becoming Tailed Beasts, Kishimoto potentially has a power-up that could even exceed Baryon Mode, if used effectively.

Human Tailed Beast Power Surpasses Baryon Mode

The Boruto: Two Blue Vortex series introduced the idea of humans becoming Tailed Beasts, starting with the character Jura. Initially, fans thought the Shinju were formed from the chakra of people consumed by the Claw Grimes.

This power is incredible – it should be far stronger than anything he possesses. However, it comes with a serious cost: it shortens our lifespans. Because our chakra is linked, the power created by sacrificing our life force also takes years away from his life when we connect with him. That’s what Baryon Mode is all about. — Kurama to Naruto Uzumaki

It turned out Jura was unique. Unlike other Shinju, he wasn’t created from an existing being. Instead, it was discovered that Jura is the Ten-Tails in physical form, which explained his incredible power and set him apart.

Honestly, a lot of us were wondering just how strong Jura would be! But as the story unfolded, it became super clear – he’s way beyond Jigen in terms of power. And get this – even a fully powered-up Isshiki doesn’t even come close, if you go by what we’ve seen in Boruto. It’s pretty mind-blowing!

As an observer, it’s pretty obvious to anyone watching that Jura has reached a power level where he seems practically unkillable. I saw Kashin Koji, who was so confident he could beat Isshiki, completely lose hope when faced with Jura. Even Amado, who usually has a plan for everything, admitted Jura’s chances of dying are almost nonexistent.

Jura Is Unkillable For Now

Currently, Jura is practically invincible because he’s become the physical form of the Ten-Tails. This new ability in Boruto – where Tailed Beasts can become human – is incredibly powerful, even surpassing the strength of Baryon Mode. This is a significant development and a positive sign for the future of the Boruto series.

It’s surprising to learn that Jura isn’t the only human connected to a Tailed Beast in the Boruto series. Naruto’s daughter, Himawari Uzumaki, also shares a connection, actually becoming the host of Kurama, the Nine-Tailed Beast.

Human Tailed Beasts Could Become The Strongest Power In The Future

The idea of humans becoming Tailed Beasts is brand new, and there are still many details Kishimoto will likely explore as the story unfolds. A lot about how it all works remains a mystery.

The latest developments in Boruto focus on Himawari and Jura, and a mysterious new power they possess. Viewers can expect to learn more about the origins of these human Tailed Beasts in the near future.

You have no idea what you are capable of. You’re not just any ninja, and you’re different even from those who hold the power of the tailed beasts. You’re a human, but in some ways, you’re more like me and Jura.

Currently, the idea of humans becoming Tailed Beasts is incredibly interesting and seems to be the strongest ability in the story, even more powerful than Baryon Mode and possibly even surpassing Karma.

Considering the creator’s plans, we might eventually see all the Tailed Beasts take on human forms, which would introduce a lot of new characters to the Boruto series. Right now, though, fans only have two examples: Himawari and the powerful, intimidating Jura.

Boruto: Two Blue Vortex is the continuation of the Boruto story, created by Mikio Ikemoto and overseen by Masashi Kishimoto.
