This article contains spoilers from the Final Saga of One Piece.
Eiichiro Oda’s One Piece is now in its final story arc, and fans expect the Straw Hat Pirates to reach their strongest point. While the Straw Hats are already a very powerful group, considered one of the four most formidable pirate crews (alongside the Red Hair Pirates and the Blackbeard Pirates), most of the crew members haven’t fully realized their potential. In fact, currently, no one on the Straw Hat crew is operating at their absolute peak.
Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji are already very strong, but the rest of the Straw Hat Pirates need to become much more powerful. It looks like the author, Oda, is showing us just how strong they’ll be after the events of the Elbaf Arc, and it’s clear they’ll be incredibly formidable afterward.
The Straw Hat Pirates Will Become The Strongest Yonko Crew After Elbaf
Currently, all members of the Straw Hat crew are strong, but still have potential to become even more powerful. Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji are already incredibly skilled fighters, though only Luffy has reached the level of the Yonko. The rest of the crew, however, weren’t able to stand up to even a single opponent, as demonstrated during the events in Elbaf.
Things need to be different when the Straw Hats reach Elbaf, and they’ll need to be powerful enough to face the crews of the other Emperors, particularly during the challenges of the final saga.
Luffy, Zoro, And Sanji Will Be Conqueror’s Haki Masters
The biggest power-up the Straw Hat Pirates will get in the Final Saga will likely start with Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji – the Monster Trio. It’s been confirmed that Luffy will fully master Conqueror’s Haki, and Zoro has recently discovered he possesses this ability too.
Conqueror’s Haki, sometimes called the Color of the Supreme King, is a powerful ability shared by many influential people. Unlike other Haki, you can’t directly train it to become stronger. Instead, it reflects the user’s own strength and spirit – it grows with them. — Silvers Rayleigh explaining to Luffy
Sanji is developing the ability to awaken Conqueror’s Haki. This means that after the events at Elbaf, the Straw Hat Pirates will likely have at least three crew members with this powerful ability, capable of fighting incredibly strong opponents like the Admirals and Emperors of the Sea.
Loki Might Join The Crew In Elbaf
Beyond the incredible strength of Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji – who are all powerful Haki users and elite fighters – the Straw Hat Pirates may be gaining a new member: Loki. If Loki joins the crew, they’d add another user of Conqueror’s Haki, and someone with a bounty of 2.6 billion berries, making him even more valuable than Zoro or Sanji.
Loki is incredibly powerful, and if he teamed up with the Straw Hat Pirates, they would become virtually unbeatable.
The Straw Hats Will Be The Closest Ones To The One Piece
Image by Viz Media Beyond the strongest characters, the rest of the crew also need to get stronger. It’s definitely time for the author to give more of them Haki, which will allow them to fight at a much higher level. Usopp especially needs a Haki boost, and the upcoming arc in Elbaf would be the ideal time for him to develop it. Hopefully, that’s what will happen.
Luffy, Haki is a hidden power that everyone possesses – the ability to sense others’ energy and dominate opponents. However, most people never unlock it. True strength comes from unwavering confidence. Now, pay attention! Haki generally manifests in two different forms, or ‘colors.’ – Silvers Rayleigh to Luffy in Ruskaina
Fans also believe Nami and Robin should develop Haki, and this current story arc seems like a likely time for them to gain it. There’s a strong possibility Franky has already awakened his Haki on Egghead Island, and we might see him demonstrate those new abilities soon.
These significant power increases will dramatically improve the Straw Hat crew’s abilities. After the events on Elbaf, fans can anticipate seeing a much stronger Straw Hat crew, likely becoming the most powerful in the world.
