World of Warcraft Players Can Easily Snag Some Rare Cosmetics Right Now

With Patch 11.2.7, players can now obtain the Chronos and Nightmare Weapon Enchantment Illusions in World of Warcraft: Legion Remix. These rare cosmetic items were added to vendors with a very low drop rate (less than 2%), so it’s a good idea for World of Warcraft fans to grab them while the event is active.

So, Blizzard’s been doing this thing called Legion Remix, and it’s awesome. Basically, I can blast through the old Legion content, snag some cool cosmetics I missed out on, and knock out achievements – both old and new – without too much trouble. But on the regular WoW side of things, they just dropped Patch 11.2.7, ‘The Warning.’ It’s got a preview of the Midnight expansion, and even lets some people jump into early access for Housing! There’s a ton of other stuff too, but those are the big highlights for me.

Chronos and Nightmare Weapon Enchantment Illusions Now In WoW: Legion Remix

The recent Patch 11.2.7 quietly added two very rare weapon enchant illusions – Illusion: Chronos and Illusion: Nightmare – to the Legion Remix event in World of Warcraft. These weren’t available when the event first launched, and weren’t mentioned in the patch notes, so players who have already collected all other rewards should check with Horos, the rare collections vendor, to make sure they don’t miss out.

  • Illusion: Chronos – 100,000 Bronze
  • Illusion: Nightmare – 80,000 Bronze

Chronos and Nightmare Weapon Enchantment Illusions are rare items that usually drop from the Chronomatic Anomaly in the Nighthold raid and Xavius in the Emerald Nightmare raid. They only have a 1.4% chance to drop, making them difficult to obtain. While they cost a substantial amount of Bronze – 80,000 for Chronos and 100,000 for Nightmare – purchasing them is generally much quicker than repeatedly running those older raids.

Weapon Enchantment Illusions are rare and popular cosmetic effects, with only a few added with each new update. The new Felshatter Illusion is now available in Legion Remix by completing the Val’sharah Timerunner achievement, bringing the total number available in that game mode to three. These effects can be applied to most weapons—all except Bows, Crossbows, Guns, and Shields—offering a magical touch to your character’s appearance. Plus, upcoming improvements to the transmog system in World of Warcraft: Midnight will make using these illusions even simpler.

What’s Next in World of Warcraft: Legion Remix, The War Within, and Midnight?

Okay, so it looks like there’s even more stuff coming in Legion Remix! The final phase, called Infinite Echoes, kicks off on December 9th. They’re promising a bunch of new rewards, ways to catch up if you’re behind, and content specifically for the Remix. We’ve got six weeks to grind out almost 7 million Bronze to snag all the WoW Legion Remix rewards before everything ends on January 19th. Better start saving up!

Patch 11.2.7 brings a lot of new things to do in the game! The Brawler’s Guild is reopening on December 9th, and the popular Turbulent Timeways event returns and will be available until February 9th. Plus, the Feast of Winter Veil begins on December 15th and lasts until January 2nd, with new holiday-themed collectibles for players to find.

While an exact date hasn’t been announced, the pre-event for World of Warcraft: Midnight is expected to start on January 20th, immediately after the Legion Remix event ends. This will allow players to use their Timewalker characters in the main game and fight the Twilight’s Blade as they get ready for Xal’atath’s assault on Silvermoon. They’ll also be able to earn updated gear and likely find new cosmetic items. With World of Warcraft: Midnight launching on March 2nd, the next few months in the game promise plenty of content for players.
