Resident Evil Requiem PSN Listing Reveals Leon Kennedy Key Art

For weeks, people have been speculating about whether Leon Kennedy would be in Resident Evil Requiem, possibly as someone you can play or as a key part of the story. Now, the PlayStation Store appears to have confirmed his role in the game.

Leon Kennedy is a central figure in the Resident Evil series. He’s been a key playable character in several games, including Resident Evil 2 and 4. Now, with the new game Resident Evil Requiem returning to the events of Raccoon City, many are wondering if this might be Leon’s final battle against the undead.

Leon Kennedy Will Be In Resident Evil Requiem

If you purchase Resident Evil Requiem from the PlayStation Store, you can view your order details and find out when the game will be available to play.

If you examine the Requiem game art closely, you’ll notice Grace Ashcroft is visible, but a large image of Leon Kennedy is also present in the background.

He’s in the game, and that’s why he appears in this picture – it’s straightforward. This also backs up claims Dusk Golem has been making for months. Several people who pre-ordered the standard edition of Resident Evil Requiem have reportedly confirmed this with evidence, which you can see below.

PlayStation seems to have accidentally revealed a character from the upcoming Resident Evil 9 – Leon! Several people have confirmed this is legitimate. If you have the standard edition of the game for PS5 and try to pre-load it, you can see his character on the game cover.

This strongly suggests the iconic character will be back. However, it doesn’t guarantee you’ll be able to play as Leon in the new game, so it’s best not to get ahead of yourself. While it’s likely Leon will be playable, it will be interesting to see if Capcom allows you to switch between him and Grace, or if you can choose to play the whole game as either one.
