As a gamer, I can’t help but feel like Traveler Fiona is playing some sort of elaborate prank on us with these Behind the Scenery quests. First, she sends us scrambling around the map searching for her, then sends us off on wild goose chases to find a view that looks just like the one in her painting. And when we finally do find it, she rewards us with… more gold clovers? What am I supposed to do with these things? Build more plots? It’s all very mysterious and a bit too whimsical for my taste. But hey, at least it keeps things interesting!

Fiona serves as the mission provider for all these tasks and can be found at various points during your adventure. In Scenery 2, which is part of this quest series, the action begins at Rhata Harbor, right before Val and his allies, the Soul Guard, depart for their next destination on another continent. Here’s how to complete it:
You cannot initiate Scenery 2 until Scenery 1 has been fully concluded. This is because Traveler Fiona cannot be found at Rhata Harbor if the first scenery isn’t completed yet
Behind the Scenery 2 Puzzle Solution
After chatting with Fiona, I trot back out towards the sprawling Fallow Steppe, the vast landscape that guided me to Rhata Harbor earlier. Dive into my Side Quest log, and pop open the map. You’ll spot a black flag marker near a cliff on the western border, much like the first ‘Behind the Scenery’ mission. There are two routes available to reach this spot, just like before
From the Meridian
Travel quickly to the central Meridian on your map, then move southward. Keep following the road until it splits; take the western branch. As you go, steer clear of the unpassable terrain and search for a narrow path heading north. This path will eventually lead you to a road that ascends to a cliff’s peak with a sharp end. At this point, you’ll discover a chest. Peek over the edge, and you’ll find the landscape similar to the one in the photo Fiona shared is right before you
The spot we need isn’t located at this edge. Instead, head back a bit and you’ll discover a small ledge near a stone building. Ascend it gently to reach a vantage point where the prompt ‘Admire the View‘ will appear. Interact with this view to bring up Fiona and finish the quest
From Rime Falls
Instead, consider beginning your journey at Rime Falls gateway in the south, then travel up the trail keeping the edge on your left for a more direct route, though it may be longer. Don’t forget to take the Pikul ride along the way to minimize the distance you cover
Reward
Once the “Behind the Scenery 2” in “Visions of Mana” is finished, Fiona will give Val a total of twenty “Gold Clovers”, which serves as the currency within the game. This currency can be used to enhance the Elemental Plot and unlock new abilities and skills for each new character class that’s introduced
