Embark Studios’ game, ARC Raiders, is proving popular with players, and the studio is asking for feedback on the game’s maps to improve the experience. Despite being released only six weeks ago, ARC Raiders has made a strong impact, even attracting players who don’t usually enjoy the ‘extraction’ style of gameplay. As with many online games, Embark sees player feedback as essential and wants to hear what players think.
Even though ARC Raiders is a relatively new game, Embark has consistently released updates and bug fixes. Just two weeks after launch, they held a community event where players donated resources to unlock the Stella Montis map. This map stands out from the others because it takes place mostly indoors and is a popular spot for player-versus-player combat.
ARC Raiders Wants to Hear From You!
Embark Studios is asking players for their thoughts on ARC Raiders. They’ve launched a survey to gather feedback on everything from the game’s maps to how people like to play – whether that’s sneaking around, battling other players, collecting loot, being social, or ambushing opponents. The studio wants to hear what the community thinks overall.
This is also a chance for players to share their thoughts on all the game’s maps. They can rate each map as something they like, dislike, or are neutral about. Embark wants to use this feedback to improve future content and design based on what its community thinks. However, some players are reporting the survey is closing unexpectedly, saying the maximum number of responses has been reached. Embark hasn’t yet addressed this issue.

To participate, Embark requires that you’ve played on every map currently available in the game, including the newest one in Stella Montis. You’ll also need to log in using your Embark ID. This ensures the survey is personalized to you and confirms you meet the necessary qualifications to participate.
Image via Embark Studios The development of ARC Raiders took longer than planned. Originally announced in 2021 as a cooperative game where players teamed up to fight machines called arcs, the game went through a major overhaul. Embark Studio realized they weren’t consistently creating a fun experience, so they reimagined ARC Raiders as a PvPvE extraction shooter, adapting many of the original game’s features to fit this new style. A behind-the-scenes video series offered insights into the choices made throughout the game’s extended development process.

Spaceport and Dam Battlegrounds were built early on, based on the initial concept for ARC Raiders, so they feel distinct from the later maps. Blue Gate, Buried City, and Stella Montis were designed after the game shifted to a focus on extraction-shooter gameplay, and are generally considered better suited for player-versus-player combat.
