5 Future Straw Hat Devil Fruit Users In One Piece

The Straw Hat Pirates have become one of the most powerful pirate crews in the world of One Piece. Under the leadership of Monkey D. Luffy, they’ve steadily grown stronger and are now recognized as one of the Four Emperors in the story’s final arc, demonstrating their incredible power.

As a huge One Piece fan, I’m always thinking about how the Straw Hats can get even stronger! While four of our crewmates already have amazing Devil Fruit powers, I really think a few more would be incredible. To truly compete with the very best pirate crews out there, we definitely need to expand that number and give some of our members a serious power-up!

Prince Loki

Loki, also known as the Accursed Prince of Elbaf, is a key character in the final part of the One Piece story. He’s incredibly powerful – on par with the strongest pirates, the Yonko. Loki possesses a legendary Devil Fruit ability, but its exact powers are currently a mystery.

Luffy has invited Loki to become a member of the Straw Hat Pirates, and currently, Loki is the most likely candidate to fill the final spot. If he joins, Loki would almost certainly be among the crew’s most powerful Devil Fruit users.

Usopp

Usopp is the sniper of the Straw Hat Pirates and was one of the first five crew members to join Luffy on his journey to the Grand Line. He’s become a very powerful fighter, capable of going toe-to-toe with some of the most dangerous pirates out there.

Look, let’s be real – when you stack Usopp up against the powerhouses of the Straw Hats, he definitely feels a bit behind. He needs a serious boost, and I think a Devil Fruit is the perfect way to do it! But honestly, giving the fruit to Usopp directly doesn’t quite click for me. I have a much better idea: what if his weapon, the Kuro Kabuto, could consume the Devil Fruit instead? Imagine how insanely strong that would make him, and how cool it would be for Usopp!

Since only Zoan Devil Fruits can give powers to non-living things, it’s very possible that Usopp’s Kabuto could eat one, unlocking a new level of power and improving Usopp’s skills as a sharpshooter.

Nami

Nami is a clever and resourceful member of the Straw Hat Pirates, and arguably the most intelligent of the crew. While she excels at strategy, she’s not a strong fighter. Although she can summon Zeus to help her, it often isn’t enough to defeat powerful opponents.

This is the main reason Nami should get a new Devil Fruit. She could potentially use it to enhance her Climatact, dramatically boosting her power. A fruit that lets her control weather-related elements would be an ideal fit for her abilities.

Yamato

Similar to Loki, Yamato hasn’t officially joined the Straw Hat Pirates. For a while, though, Yamato seemed like the most likely candidate to become the final member. After the Wano arc ended, Yamato chose to stay in Wano to protect it, but Luffy made it clear they’re always welcome to join the crew if they change their mind.

It’s likely Luffy will gladly accept Yamato into his crew, and when the final war starts, Yamato might team up with the Straw Hat Pirates again. Many fans know Yamato possesses an incredibly powerful Mythical Zoan Devil Fruit – easily one of the strongest in the One Piece world. This fruit allowed Yamato to fight on equal footing with Kaido, and they would undoubtedly be a huge asset to Luffy’s crew, becoming one of his most powerful allies during the upcoming war.

Vivi

I’m a huge fan of Princess Vivi and honestly, I think she has a really strong case to be the last member of the Straw Hats! It’s almost like she already is one – even Oda has hinted at it! I fully expect her to rejoin the crew at some point, but I do worry about her fitting in strength-wise. The others are so powerful now! That’s why I think a powerful Devil Fruit would be perfect for her. It would give her the boost she needs to really contribute to the fights and become an indispensable part of the team. It would just make so much sense!

Vivi plays a crucial role in the final storyline of One Piece. We know Imu is actively seeking her, and the Straw Hat Pirates are desperate to have her back with them. Once she rejoins the crew, it would be a huge advantage for her to have a Devil Fruit power.
