Where Winds Meet Releases Massive December Update

Everstone Studios just launched a major update for their game, Where Winds Meet, adding a significant amount of new content and expanding the game world by about a third. Since the game’s release in November, the developers at Everstone Studios have been consistently updating it based on player feedback. They’ve also been actively communicating with players on social media, sharing information about what’s new and what’s coming soon.

Earlier this month, Everstone Studios shared a detailed plan for new content coming to Where Winds Meet throughout December 2025, letting players know what to anticipate each week. The first week brought two new Jianghu Legacy quests – Twelve Years of Feuds and An Unholy Prophecy. But the biggest update so far arrived in Week 2.

The latest update, version 1.1, brings a huge amount of new content to the free-to-play game Where Winds Meet. A new map called Roaring Sands has been unlocked, adding nearly a third more explorable area to the existing city of Kaifeng. Players will also find plenty of new quests to complete, including “Dragons Appear,” “Legend of the River Master,” and “Death of the True Dragon.” Everstone Studios has consistently shown appreciation for its players, and this update is no different – all players will receive 100 Echo Jade as compensation for the time the game was undergoing maintenance.

Everstone has upped the challenge in Where Winds Meet by adding Feng Ruzhi as a new World Boss. This adds to the game’s existing roster of challenging bosses and is accompanied by a new questline called River Master.

A new faction, The Velvet Shade, is now available in Where Winds Meet after completing the Jianghu Legacy: Shadows in Bloom storyline. Everstone will soon open a shop offering unique sect customizations and items. Players can also utilize a new feature called Gossip Paper to find clues and share secrets. A new in-game challenge, the Taiping Mausoleum, offers unique rewards for completing trials, and resets every Friday.

In addition to new content, Where Winds Meet is now playable on both iOS and Android mobile devices, so you can enjoy the game on the go. To celebrate, there are a couple of special events happening: The Great Faceologist is available now until the end of December, and Fresh Wind, New Year will be held on December 11th, 14th, and 30th.

Players already felt that Where Winds Meet offered a lot to do when it first came out, so the announcement of this large, free update just a month later is sure to be popular. Everstone has consistently shown appreciation for its players – celebrating launch milestones and thanking them in social media and game updates – suggesting fans have good reason to be excited about what’s coming in 2026. Details about those future plans will be revealed later.
