Black Myth: Wukong – How To Find & Beat Apramana Bat Boss (Missable Boss)

Black Myth: Wukong - How To Find & Beat Apramana Bat Boss (Missable Boss)

As a seasoned adventurer who’s spent countless hours traversing various fantasy realms, I can wholeheartedly say that the hunt for Apramana Bat in Black Myth: Wukong is one of the most exhilarating quests I’ve embarked upon. The snow-capped peaks of The New West have always held a certain allure, and the Pagoda Realm, with its mysterious curse, only adds to the intrigue.

Upon reaching the snow-capped peaks of The New West, players will discover themselves being taken captive and confined within the Pagoda Realm. Breaking free from this domain won’t be straightforward, as the Pagoda Realm is plagued with a curse that intermittently drains the player’s vitality by half.

In the game “Black Myth: Wukong,” Apramana Bat is a boss that players may encounter during the third chapter. While it’s not essential to defeat this boss, doing so rewards a journal entry and grants access to one of the “Soaks.” Unfortunately, if you miss this opportunity, you won’t be able to obtain it for the remainder of your gameplay. This guide provides tips on locating Apramana Bat and strategies for successfully defeating the boss.

How To Find Apramana Bat

Leaving the Pagoda Realm behind, your journey takes you to Turtle Island where you’ll encounter Kang-Jin Star. Defeat him in battle and you’ll gain a companion – Zhu Bajie, a small boar. Continue on your path until you reach the North Shore of the Bitter Lake. There, interact with the Keeper’s Shrine and head towards the water. Stick to this route, passing multiple snake carcasses along the way and avoiding any flying foes in the area.

From afar, you’ll see the skull of a colossal skeleton. Make your way towards it, and soon enough, an Apeman Flying Creature will swoop into view within this space. Once the scene is over, a boss battle commences.

How To Beat Apramana Bat

Apramana Bat is a challenging boss in the game due to spending much of the battle aloft, leaving little opportunity for attacks. It’s capable of executing various aerial moves like Air Slashes or Air Gush, both of which are projectile-based attacks that can be dodged by rolling left, right, up, or down as it launches them. Be wary of the Spin Attack, which is easy to spot since it begins to turn its head away from you before rapidly spinning and causing damage to anything nearby.

On solid ground, the Apramana Bat has unique abilities beyond standard attacks. Occasionally, it can transform its entire body into gold and assume a defensive stance. In this state, attacking the boss won’t cause it any harm; instead, it will retaliate with one of its own moves. The boss is also known to unleash an icy breath, a perfect moment for you to dodge to its rear side and deal multiple blows.

Direct damage from the Ice Breath can

on you, leaving you frozen and incapacitated for a few seconds. You can mash the dodge button to escape the frozen state quickly.

Ultimately, the boss often resorts to a powerful move called Body Slam, especially when aloft. To counter this, make sure your dodge is timed perfectly. When successful, you’ll have the opportunity to roll towards the boss and strike before it jumps again.

What To Do After Defeating The Boss

Following our victory over the boss, it departs, leaving me with the opportunity to engage with its remains in this specific location. This interaction advances my quest for the elusive Turtle Tear Soak.
