Recently, InZOI made its debut in Steam’s Early Access program, and it’s been a smash hit with gamers! This fresh life simulation game became available on Steam at midnight UTC today, and it’s swiftly gaining momentum, currently ranking among the top 20 most-played games. In fact, it was the most sought-after game on the platform prior to its release!
Currently, as I’m typing this, the number of InZOI players for The Sims 4 is nearly reaching its all-time high. At the moment, we have more than 87,000 players and counting, compared to The Sims 4’s record high of over 96,000 players.
It also sits at 86% of over 3,000 positive reviews, making it “Very Positive.”
Enthusiasts have been commending inZOI for aspects such as its DLC policy, where all additional content will be available for free during the game’s early access period, its more authentic aesthetic contrasting The Sims, the absence of Denuvo anti-tamper software, and other factors.
It’s Still Early Access
That said, inZOI is still in early access for the foreseeable future, and it shows in some ways.
Users have spotted a few issues within the game, with some being quite amusing and others potentially problematic, depending on one’s perspective.
Hey there! DevonGaming came across a striking instance on Reddit, where it was reported that someone managed to drive a vehicle into an elementary school and knock down kids, causing them to be thrown off their feet.
In a remark, it’s mentioned that they can propel these characters towards the goalpost on the soccer field, reminiscent of how players manipulate cars in Rocket League, except using schoolchildren instead of balls; it appears that the concept of character manipulation, akin to what was observed in The Sims, is being continued inZOI.
Without a doubt, since it’s an early access version, inZOI has room for improvement. However, considering how responsive the developers were with Denuvo, it’s likely they’ll address the player’s concerns promptly, fixing any issues that arise swiftly.
Currently, InZOI can only be played on PC, but the developers have hinted that it will eventually come out on gaming consoles as well. They anticipate that the early access phase could last up to a year or more, putting the potential release date for InZOI around mid-2026; however, this timeline is subject to adjustments.
