How To Get Loong Scales In Black Myth: Wukong

Players must reach the Yellow Wind Ridge area in Black Myth: Wukong to find the Loong Scales.

  • Activate the Sandgate Village Entrance Keeper’s Shrine. Disengage from the shrine and cross the wooden bridge. Climb the slope and go down until you see an enemy with a shield.
  • Beat all the enemies in the area and open the big gate on the right. Enter to initiate a fight with the King of the Flowing Sands and the Second Prince. Beat them both and activate the Valley of Despair Keeper’s Shrine.
  • Once again, move away from the Shrine and enter the cavernous area ahead. Follow the main path until you see an arena with a mural on the walls. Drop below to trigger the fight with the First Prince of the Flowing Sands.
  • After defeating the enemy, approach the wall with murals. Use Wandering Wight’s Spirit attack to create a gap in the wall. Enter through here to find a locked chest. Alternatively, they can bait the First Prince of the Flowing Sands into attacking the wall.
  • Open it to find the Loong Scales. Now that players have acquired the Loong Scales, they can start hunting the Loong bosses.

Where To Find Red Loong

Red Loong can be found hidden beyond a cascading waterfall, just beyond the Forest Keeper’s Shrine. To reach it, travel to the shrine and then veer left as you exit. Continue your journey, keeping to the left, and as you draw nearer to the waterfall, you will start to hear a voice that signals your proximity to the destination. Simply interact with the waterfall to gain access to Red Loong’s combat zone.

Head towards the “Rockrest Keeper’s Shrine”. After that, slightly retreat and locate the staircase on your right side. Climb these stairs and interact with the falling sand to find the Black Loong.

Where To Find Cyan Loong

Cyan Loong can be found on a cliffside next to the Turtle Island Shrine, which is on your left. Keep to the right as you walk, and after some distance, lower yourself and head towards the statue to initiate the battle.

Where To Find Yellow Loong

Yellow Loong is the final form of the Loong boss, and he can be located near the Shrine of the Fallen Loong Keeper. This adversary is extremely hazardous, so proceed with caution. Players should move away from the Keeper’s Shrine and advance towards the nearby gazebo. As they draw closer, a cinematic sequence will commence, leading to the confrontation with Yellow Loong.
