How to Switch Classes in Towerborne

As a seasoned adventurer with countless hours spent traversing the lands of Towerborne and countless other fantastical realms, I can confidently say that this game has captured my heart like no other. The sheer variety of classes available to us players is simply breathtaking, and it’s an absolute joy to swap between them at will.

In the game Towerborne, one of your initial quests requires you to change your character’s class among the four options and complete a mission with each style on the World Map. It’s quite an easy task for any adventurer. However, you might find it beneficial to switch classes before you embark on this quest. Here’s how to change classes in Towerborne!

How to Swap Classes in Towerborne

In Towerborne, you can effortlessly change your character class whenever you prefer by either pressing ‘ESC’ on your keyboard or ‘Pause’ on your controller. Once the pause menu appears, navigate to the ‘Character’ tab at the top and choose a new class from the options provided. To confirm your selection, hit ‘Space’ on the keyboard or ‘A’ on the controller. Keep in mind that you can only change classes when not engaged in a mission or battling Gobos. This feature is great for exploring different game aspects, accumulating extra gear, and discovering the play style that best fits your gaming experience.

Following my turn as every character, I’m increasingly captivated by the Pyroclast. Its tool that resembles a hammer combined with its flamethrower and rocket launcher-esque capabilities make it an engaging class, capable of swiftly dispatching groups of foes single-handedly!

Best Towerborne Class for Beginners

As a fresh recruit in Towerborne (Welcome!), you might spend some time experimenting with each class to discover the one that aligns best with your taste. However, if you’re feeling uncertain or need guidance, I’d be more than happy to suggest my top pick: Sentinel!

Isn’t it quite clear that the character with a sword and shield is the standard combatant class in nearly every role-playing or action-adventure game? Yet, despite its simplicity, it remains a popular choice for newcomers to understand the gameplay and mechanics more easily.

The Guardian serves as a shield, deflecting incoming harm, and at the right moment, it can counterattack by parrying attacks which you may retaliate with a swift strike. They’re adaptable, capable of both offense and defense, and possess impressive statistics that make them excellent choices for solo missions or team-based activities.
