Instead, it’s about navigating the screen, battling enemies, and achieving goals from one end to another. The strategies I’ve learned in Towerborne will undoubtedly prove useful as we venture beyond The Belfry. TopMob is excited to join you on this adventure and explore together!

What is Towerborne?

Towerborne is an action-adventure game with RPG elements, developed by Stoic, the creators behind The Banner Saga. In this game, you become a hero, known as an Ace, who possesses extraordinary powers to fight off monsters that are threatening The Belfry. You’ll embark on journeys – either solo or with a group of up to three other players – to discover new territories, obtain powerful equipment, and conquer various-sized creatures of different challenges. If you choose to travel alone, you can enlist the help of Umbra, unique companions who aid you in combat and boost your abilities.

However, combat isn’t the only aspect. Towerborne offers a myriad of quests, the option to enhance your gear for greater strength, and other role-playing game elements that could potentially captivate players for an extended period, as suggested by the developers.

Towerborne Tips and Tricks You Should Know

Although it appears straightforward at first glance, Towerborne actually contains intricate features and some perplexing design aspects that leave novice players puzzled. To make your journey smoother, we’ve prepared some useful tips and strategies for Towerborne!

  1. You don’t need to rush into combat. While the enemies prove squishy in the early game, some of them hit hard. They telegraph their tells, so learn your foe’s moveset, watch for their wind-up, and know when to dodge forward, backward, or strike to interrupt attacks.
  2. Don’t fret over character creation too much, as part of the lore revolves around you being essentially immortal, which means you can alter your appearance anytime you wish from the hub area!
  3. You can switch classes anytime, so long as you’re not in the middle of a mission, so experiment with the four available—Sentinel, Pyroclast, Rockbreaker, and Shadowstriker—to figure out which one meshes well with your preferred play style. They all feature unique abilities and weapons, allowing for plenty of variety.
  4. Learn the game’s various roles and how they fit into a party-based environment. For example, the Sentinel excels as a frontline fighter that takes the brunt of the attack, while the Pyroclast moves up in the second slot to deal heavy damage to groups with its fire-based heavy attacks.
