How to unlock Kastov LSW in Warzone & MW3

As a seasoned gamer who’s been through numerous Call of Duty seasons and battles, I can’t help but feel a mix of excitement and anticipation for the upcoming Season 6 of Warzone and Modern Warfare 3. The announcement of the Haunting event, new weapons like the Kastov LSW, and the addition of horror icon Michael Myers and Daryl Dixon from The Walking Dead, just adds fuel to the fire.

The announcement for Season 6 of both Warzone and Modern Warfare 3 has been made, featuring a return of the beloved Haunting event and introducing fresh weaponry such as the Kastov LSW LMG.

On September 18th, we’re releasing the last seasonal update before Black Ops 6 launches on October 25th. To get you in the Halloween mood, Michael Myers from horror classics and Daryl Dixon from The Walking Dead are joining the game. Additionally, expect some major changes to the gameplay dynamics as a formidable Light Machine Gun will be introduced, designed to take over close-quarters battles.

Here’s how to get the Kastov LSW in the final season before Black Ops 6.

How to get Kastov LSW in Modern Warfare 3 & Warzone

To gain access to the Kastov LSW, you’ll need to accomplish Task 9 in the Warzone and complete the Season 6 Battle Pass for Modern Warfare 3 when it becomes available on September 18th.

In the latest Call of Duty, new weapons are freely accessible as you progress, so there’s no need to purchase the Premium Battle Pass or BlackCell. Simply advance to Sector 9 and collect all the rewards listed on that page. This shouldn’t take much time, especially since you can select the shortest route to reach your goal.

Unlike typical Light Machine Guns that excel at long-distance combat with limited mobility and large ammo capacity, the Kastov LSW is specifically crafted for close to mid-range battles.

Equipped with exceptional firepower and pinpoint accuracy in tactical stance, you’ll dominate close-combat situations without needing to hit every shot or even aim precisely to secure victory. The massive magazine capacity of the LMG and rapid reload speed of the LSW make you nearly invincible on smaller battlefields.

The developers mentioned that while this weapon is primarily intended for close combat, it’s possible to modify it for long-range use by adding attachments that boost its damage range and bullet speed.

The Kastov LSW works optimally in close combat, but the newly introduced DTIR 30-06 is ideal for players who excel at long-range engagements. Although it has a relatively slow rate of fire, this weapon delivers substantial damage with each shot.

In addition, you’ll have the opportunity to wield both weapons on the newly introduced Area 99 map within Warzone, as well as on Verdansk in the year 2025, following the integration of Black Ops 6.
