Wow, the Mega Dimension DLC for Pokemon Legends: Z-A has totally changed the game, and it only came out two weeks ago! As a shiny hunter, I’m especially loving the new ways to find them, especially since they fixed that glitch in the original game. Plus, so many old Pokemon are back, and Hyperspace Lumiose is a great place to catch them. But honestly, the biggest news for me is that you can actually shiny hunt five Legendary Pokemon! Between Legendaries and Mythicals, there are a whopping 20 to collect! They even added ways to farm rare items using these cool new ‘Donut Powers.’ The DLC also has the absolute best way to farm anything in the game, which is a little frustrating because it locks you out of it once you finish one particular side quest, but still, it’s amazing!
There are 200 Side Missions in Pokemon Legends: Z-A after the release of the DLC.
While many side quests in Pokemon Legends: Z-A don’t offer much in the way of story or rewards, some are truly memorable—like the emotional “Goodbye, Gengar” quest. Completing two quests featuring Raichu is essential if you want to unlock the new Mega Evolutions for this classic Pokemon. However, be warned: Side Mission 157, “What’s Wafting from Wigglytuff?”, is only necessary if you’re aiming for 100% completion of the game.
Say Hello to Pokemon Legends: Z-A DLC’s Best Farming Method
You can start this mission after finishing Hyperspace Mission 8. You’ll find it in Lumiose City’s Bleu District, close to the area that will become Wild Zone 10 in Pokemon Legends: Z-A. An NPC named Bain needs help giving his Wigglytuff a bath – but his Wigglytuff hates showers and needs to be cleaned using the Bubble Beam move in battle! Bain will only battle you if you have a Pokemon that knows Bubble Beam. Winning this battle completes the quest, but it’s best to wait before starting it.
Pokemon Legends: Z-A’s Best Money, XP, and EVs Farming Method Explained
You can repeatedly battle and win against Bain, even with various Pokémon, as long as one of them knows the move Bubble Beam. Each victory earns you 4,752 Poke Dollars – it’s a small reward, but it’s quick and simple to get. Bain will keep asking you to use Bubble Beam on his Wigglytuff if you don’t do it initially, and as long as you have a Pokémon with that move, you can continue battling him endlessly. Here’s what you’ll receive for doing so:
- 4,752 Poke Dollars per battle, with each battle taking less than a minute, including dialogue.
- Endless XP for your Pokemon below level 100.
- Endless HP EVs – specifically, 3 HP EVs every time you defeat Bain’s Wigglytuff.
This is a huge advantage because many Pokémon perform better with a lot of HP. Top teams in Pokémon Legends: Z-A often include Pokémon with both high HP and high Attack, so you can effectively boost one of these stats without spending 5,000 Poke Dollars on HP Up items. Plus, you can earn millions of Poke Dollars quickly through gameplay, giving you a significant financial boost for the rest of the game.
While getting to the battle area near Wild Zone 8 using the Z-A Infinite Royale technique is more efficient, it requires constant player input. A simpler approach is to defeat Bain’s Wigglytuff, which can be done automatically with a Nintendo Switch turbo controller. It’s even easier with a programmable controller – you can set it to repeatedly press the A button and use a rubber band to hold down the ZL button for automatic targeting.
You Should Check Pokemon Legends: Z-A’s Side Mission 157 Immediately
Okay, so I’ve been figuring out the best way to grind in Pokemon Legends: Z-A. Basically, you want a strong attacker – Poison or Steel types work, but if you really want to optimize things, a level 100 Metagross is the way to go. I’m running Heavy Slam with maxed-out Attack stats, and it one-shots the Wigglytuff every time. The dialogue with Bain can be a pain, so you can either mash the A button or use a turbo controller to skip through it until the battle resets. Honestly, this is the fastest way to get everything – HP EVs, money, and XP – all at once. The downside? It only works until you beat that Wigglytuff with Bubble Beam, then you need to find a new farming spot.
