A skilled player of The Sims 4 has brought characters from Dispatch‘s Phoenix Program to life within the game, imagining how these heroes would appear in a life simulation setting. The Sims 4‘s detailed character customization options allowed the player to create impressive versions of the unique superheroes from Dispatch.
Developed by AdHoc Studio, Dispatch quickly became a standout indie game in 2025. It tells the unique story of Robert Robertson III, formerly the superhero Mecha Man, who now works as an emergency dispatcher for a team of reformed supervillains. Despite strong competition from Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Dispatch received nominations for Best Debut Indie Game and Players Voice at The Game Awards 2025. It’s been incredibly well-received on Steam, earning an “Overwhelmingly Positive” rating with 97% of players recommending it.
Dispatch Superheroes Recreated in The Sims 4
A fan of the comedic drama Dispatch has brought its superheroes to life in The Sims 4. Reddit user BowlerExotic2252 shared images of their Sims versions of Malevola, Punch Up, and the Dispatch superhero, showcasing the game’s impressive character creation tools. The creations demonstrate how detailed characters can be, capturing everything from Punch Up’s mustache to Malevola’s red skin and glowing eyes – proving you can customize not just outfits, but also facial features with remarkable accuracy.
The character Malevola is recreated very accurately, sporting a white tank top, blue denim shorts, and a single yellow earring, just like in Dispatch. The game’s customization options allowed for a convincingly demonic look, especially with her pupil-less eyes, though her horns were tricky to replicate. The strongman, Punch Up, also looks the part, with his signature curled mustache and a simple green shirt and suspenders. His in-game version does have a bit more chest hair than usual. While his real height of 3’3” can’t be exactly matched without modifications, his portrait was adjusted to give the impression of his smaller stature.
Before making these new characters for missions in the game’s Dispatch system, this Sims 4 player had already recreated Robert Robertson and shared an updated version. They were able to capture Robert’s look in Create-a-Sim – his blue work shirt, messy hair, strong eyebrows, freckles, and even wrinkles – though a small detail, a missing piece of his ear, couldn’t be replicated. This creator also shared a very popular Sims 4 version of Invisigal, which fans seem to love even more than the other characters.
Some players are looking forward to seeing the Phoenix Program characters added to The Sims 4, but recreating certain members accurately might be difficult. This is especially true for the non-human characters like Sonar, who is part human, part bat and has a very large head, and Golem, a huge creature made of clay, rocks, and scrap metal. However, heroes like Blonde Blazer, Phenomaman, and Flambae, as well as supporting characters like Royd and Chase, would likely be easier to create in the game.
