How to Farm Bombardier Cells in ARC Raiders the Easy Way

In ARC Raiders, Bombardiers are similar to Bastions, moving and behaving in comparable ways. However, Bombardiers are significantly more powerful and durable. Fortunately, players can quickly defeat them with a consistent strategy that requires stealth and accuracy.

This guide will help you understand Bombardiers in ARC Raiders. It covers their weak points, the best strategies for taking them down, and where to find Bombardier Cells.

Spotters are special machines, similar in appearance to Snitches, that find and mark players for Bombardiers to target.

The Trick to Solo Bombardiers in ARC Raiders

To defeat a Bombardier alone, you’ll need Trailblazers and Lure Grenades. First, throw a Lure Grenade away from you to distract it. Then, quickly follow up with three or four Trailblazers – this should be enough to take it down.

There’s another tactic for taking down the tough Bomber ARC: stun it using a Showstopper or Hornet Driver, then attach a Deadline explosive to the back of its cylinder. If you don’t have Deadlines, Trigger ‘Nades will also work. These explosives stick to surfaces and can be detonated from a distance, similar to C4 in other games.

The Best Weapon to Defeat Bombardiers

Bombardiers are heavily armored, protecting them from typical weapons. In ARC Raiders, the Hullcracker is the most effective weapon against them, as it launches powerful explosives that can break through their defenses.

If you haven’t found a Hullcracker or other powerful, uncommon weapons, the Ferro and Anvil are great alternatives. When fighting the Bombardier with these guns, aim for its bright yellow knees and the tank-like cylinder on its back to do the most damage.

Where to Find Bombardiers

Okay, so if you’re looking for Bombardier Cells, trust me, the sweet spot is between the Library and Town Hall in the Buried City. Those Bombardiers spawn all the time there. Plus, all the buildings around give you awesome spots to see them and take ’em down. And the best part? It’s super close to an extraction point, so you can grab your cells and get out of there quickly and safely. Seriously, it’s the best farming spot I’ve found.

Some Tips and Notes for Raiders

Keep these in mind:

  • Night Raids are ideal for Bombardier farming. During this limited-time event, most players focus on gathering loot, leaving Bombardiers largely unchallenged.
  • Make the most of Hornet Drivers. New ARC Raiders players with limited resources can shoot down Hornets and collect their drives, which function as stun grenades to temporarily disable the Bombardier.
  • Use an Augment with two safe pockets. Bombardiers can drop more than three cells, so having two pockets ready can help you carry them all.
  • Exploit Spotter spawns. Bombardiers will keep summoning Spotters, which can be farmed for ARC Raiders Coins as long as you stay in a safe position away from the Bombardier’s missiles.

You’ll need Bombardier Cells to upgrade your Refiner to level 3. After the upgrade, you can sell any extra cells for 5,000 Coins each, save them for crafting later, or keep them for special events. If you recycle a Bombardier Cell, you’ll get two Advanced Mechanical Components and two ARC Alloy.
