Embark Studios has released a new set of weekly challenges for ARC Raiders, offering players extra rewards for completing them. These Trials will pit you against various ARC Raiders enemies like Rocketeers, Shredders, and Fireballs. And for players who venture Topside into the snowy areas, Embark Studios has included a unique challenge.
In ARC Raiders, the main way to get good loot is by exploring the surface and scavenging. However, weekly Trials offer another path to valuable rewards. Every Monday, Embark Studios releases five new challenges, giving players a week to make progress. Completing a challenge earns an Uncommon item, two stars get you a Rare item, and three stars reward an Epic item. Dedicated players can earn even better rewards by improving their ranking throughout the season – the higher you climb, the better the prizes. Some players find the Trials a bit repetitive, but others enjoy having extra goals to work towards each week.
How to Complete ARC Raiders Week 10 Trials
- Throw snowballs at Rocketeers
- Deal damage to Shredders
- Deal damage to flying ARC enemies
- Open ARC Probes
- Destroy Fireballs
This week’s in-game challenges in ARC Raiders are a bit different! Instead of destroying Rocketeers, players are tasked with hitting them with snowballs. These snowballs don’t actually cause any damage, which explains why you might see snowball fights without anyone getting hurt. To get snowballs, you’ll need to play a match with the ‘Cold Snap’ weather condition. Once you’re on the map, look for snow on the ground to collect them and add them to your quick-select menu. Then, you can throw them just like any other weapon or item.
Luckily, the game doesn’t require players to simply distract enemies with snowballs and then hide. Instead, throwing a snowball pairs well with the task of damaging flying ARC enemies – meaning players are rewarded for quickly following up a snowball throw with an attack. While snowballs are only usable in areas with the ‘Cold Snap’ weather effect, flying ARC enemies appear throughout the game, letting players make progress on this challenge almost anywhere. Players will also earn rewards for dealing significant damage to Shredders, which are common on the Stella Montis map. Be warned though – Shredders are tough opponents, so approach with caution!
For those completing the Week 10 Trials in ARC Raiders, destroying Fireballs is key – simply damaging them won’t do. Players who usually avoid Probes will need to change tactics, as this week’s Trials require opening as many as possible. With plenty of content available now and more planned, the future of ARC Raiders is looking bright for fans.
